On the occasion of the broadcast on TF1 of the action film “Bullet Train”, we take stock of Brad Pitt’s projects! When will we see the actor on screen again?
David Leitch’s action film Bullet Train is being broadcast tonight on TF1. Rated for children under 12 when it was released in theaters, the feature film follows Ladybug (Brad Pitt), an unlucky assassin who is particularly determined to accomplish his new mission peacefully after too many of them have gone off the rails. But fate has decided otherwise and takes him on the fastest train in the world alongside formidable adversaries who all have one thing in common, but whose interests diverge radically… He must then try by all means to get off the train.
The feature film marks the eighth collaboration between director and former stuntman David Leitch and Brad Pitt. The two first worked together on Fight Club (1999), where Leitch performed the actor’s stunts. They have since reunited on several films including Ocean’s Eleven, Spy Game, and Troy. In 2018, Leitch even gave Pitt a cameo in Deadpool 2.

Brad Pitt / George Clooney : 6ème !
We won’t have to wait long before seeing Brad Pitt on screen again, as the actor will be starring in the thriller Wolfs by Jon Watts (who directed the Spider-Man trilogy with Tom Holland) on AppleTV+ starting September 27.
The feature film will mark his sixth collaboration with his accomplice George Clooney after Ocean’s Eleven (2001), Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (in which Pitt makes a cameo) (2002), Ocean’s Twelve (2004), Ocean’s 13 (2007) and Burn After Reading (2008). Amy Ryan and Austin Abrams (Euphoria) also star in Wolfs.
This thriller tells the story of how two lone wolves – and crime scene cleaners – find themselves on the same mission. A film full of dark humor in which the two stars play the competition card to the full. Wolfs was also presented as a preview at the last Venice Film Festival.
Initially, the film was expected to be released in French theaters on September 18; finally, Sony Pictures, which was to distribute the work in our countries in partnership with Apple, announced that Wolfs will not be released in theaters in France. The feature film will be streamed directly on AppleTV+ from September 27.
And the film hasn’t even been released yet and a sequel is already planned. Last August, the site Deadline announced that director Jon Watts would be returning for Wolfs 2, which will once again star Brad Pitt and George Clooney.
Confirming Clooney’s announcement in December 2023: “There’s already talk of doing a sequel to this movie that I shot with Brad Pitt and Jon Watts. It was a great experience and Jon Watts is an extraordinarily talented, cheerful and passionate guy about what he does.. We had a blast and we saw the result. It’s a film that exceeded our expectations and it was great to work with Brad again. We had a lot of fun.”.
Brad Pitt as F1 driver for Top Gun: Maverick director
Winner of the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood and an honorary César, Brad Pitt will then star in a film set in the world of Formula 1.
Directed by Joseph Kosinski, who directed Top Gun: Maverick, the feature film follows a race car driver who comes out of retirement to mentor a young driver in the hopes of finding glory again… Brad Pitt will star alongside Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon and Tobias Menzies.
In July 2023, Brad Pitt and Damson Idris were also on the Silverstone British Grand Prix circuit to film shots among the crowd and the real F1 drivers of the 2022/2023 season.
Dressed in the colours of the Apex team (named after the fictional team in the film), the two actors were able to take part in the drivers’ briefing before the race, but also take part in the warm-up lap before the competition resumed.
Titled F1, the film is co-produced by seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, in collaboration with the teams of his Mercedes team (whose logo appears on the Apex drivers’ outfits). Produced by Apple, the film will be released in our theaters on June 25, 2025.
