The former White Stripes member has called Nashville home for over 15 years. The talented artist lives with his wife and two kids in an 18,490-square-foot house in the suburb of Brentwood. The house has a wrap-around porch, a huge swimming pool, and a red guest house.

Nashville is also where White’s Third Man Records is located. The independent label formed by White, Ben Blackwell, and Ben Swank has a recording studio, record store, vinyl processing plant, and office all in the one building. You can visit the record label when in town and pick up an array of exclusive pressings. White often holds live performances there, with a whos who of musicians having played intimate shows there over the years.

One of the biggest names in music resides in good old Nashville. Pop superstar Taylor Swift owns a gated estate in the Forest Hills just outside of the city center. The $2.5 million property features a 5,600-square-foot main house with a 2,000-square-foot guest house.

But that’s not the only home Swift owns. Before buying the secluded mansion at the age of 21, Swift splashed the cash on a penthouse apartment in the heart of Nashville. Located above Music Row, the abode allows Swift easy access to the studio where she has written most of her hits. The home is set back from the hustle and bustle of Nashville, allowing Parton and her husband Carl Thomas Dean to spend their time in private. Dean is known to shun the spotlight and is rarely seen with Parton, preferring to enjoy time with his wife at their secluded Nashville home.

The compound comprises five bedrooms and 10 bathrooms set on a whopping 622 acres. The mansion was built in the 1800s and provides the couple with privacy from the outside world. Although just outside of the city, the property is close enough to allow McGraw and Hill to hit the recording studio at any moment their creative juices start flowing.

The two-story mansion sits on 33 acres and covers 6,698 feet of flooring. Classically designed, inside are five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two half bathrooms.

The home boasts double-height vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, timber paneling, and country-style interiors. There is also a three-car garage, outdoor pool, and elevator connecting the two floors for when Cyrus can’t be bothered using the stairs.

Although she recently purchased a Hidden Hills mansion in 2020, since splitting with Liam Hemsworth she is believed to be spending more time back in Tennesse at her country estate.

One half of popular country duo Big & Rich, Big Kenny (William Kenneth Alphin to his mom), has been a mainstay in Nashville for many years. He and his wife, Nashville designer and wardrobe stylist Christiev Alphin, live in a home they custom built in 2006.

Covering a massive 18,449-square-foot, the multi-level mansion comes with eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a gym, a formal library, a saltwater pool, and a jacuzzi. There’s also an Irish pub that was transported from Ireland to Nashville just so Kenny could have an authentic pint of Guinness.

The mansion apparently cost the pair around $10 million to construct. They tried selling it in 2016 but failed and have remained on the premises since.

A short 45-minute drive from Nashville, the home is exactly what you would expect a country star like McEntire would reside in.

It has a classic southern facade and looks like it may have been built two hundred odd years ago. Known as The Estate at Cherokee Dock, this beautiful home has eight bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a wine room, a theater, and an outdoor pool and spa. There’s also an eight-car garage, tennis court, and private dock.

McEntire originally tried to sell the mansion for $7.9 million in 2016 after her divorce but ended up settling for around $3 million a year later. The home is now an events center and a popular wedding destination.

American musician Sheryl Crow lives on a 50-acre farm just outside of Nashville. While it might seem big, before this she lived on 150 acres, which is massive. She moved so her sons could be closer to town, with Crow telling Architectural Digest“The property has 50 acres – but we are also like, five minutes from a Starbucks.”

The country compound has a lot going on, with a basement converted into a playroom, a piano room where her kids can learn, a ten-stall barn with a recording studio, and a church Crow built where she goes to meditate. The house is also quite spacious with large living areas. All the bedrooms are on the second floor.

Currently believed to be building a new home for her and husband Brendan McLoughlin, Lambert also recently purchased a property near Primm Springs, which is about an hour out of Nashville.

The home is adjacent to the water and features an open-plan living room. There are also two guest cabins, a boathouse, and a barn on the 75-acre estate. It can best be described as country chic.

Lambert also owns a rustic home in Williamsport. This much smaller property is more of a vacation home where Lambert goes to escape the rigors of stardom.
