Romantic Gesture Tips : With the ongoing battle of feminism and chivalry, it would seem the romance has died somewhere along the way. With romance novels grossing a billion dollars a year, it is easy to see that the female gender may be a little starved for attention. Men have become so overly cautious about appearing misogynistic, common polite gestures, like opening doors, have fallen by the wayside. Clearly though, women are looking for small signs of romance and affection in their daily lives. If you are looking for a way to demonstrate your affection, consider making one of these romantic gestures for the love of your life.

Order Flowers

One of the smallest, simplest and easiest gestures is to order flowers for your woman. Women who work in offices can get notoriously jealous of each other, and seeing flowers delivered to their coworkers can be disheartening. While there are exceptions to every rule, most women enjoy being made to feel special with flowers delivered to her workspace.

If your woman believes flowers are a waste of time and money, consider sending her other tokens throughout the day. It could be as extravagant as an edible bouquet of chocolate dipped fruits, or something as simple as ordering her lunch to be delivered. No matter what you choose, showing your love you are thinking about her throughout the day should earn you a few brownie points.

Leave Edibles For Her

There is a reason chocolates seem overdone, it is because most women genuinely enjoy getting chocolates. Giving your woman chocolate shows that you are not obsessed over her weight and that you think she deserves a treat. If your lady is not into chocolate, find another edible treat for her and leave it on the table in the morning. It is guaranteed to start her day off in a good mood.

If you are not living together, consider leaving things on, or in, her car while she is at work. You could fill her car with balloons, chocolates or packs of gum, whatever she likes best. Upon leaving a long day of work, she will have proof that you were thinking about her and cared enough to make a sweet gesture.

Have a Spontaneous Date

While it is true there are occasions when leaving the house seems like a burden, however, there are also plenty of evenings when going out is exciting. The average person enjoys occasional spontaneity in their life and would love to be surprised by a dinner date. Other great options could include going out stargazing or having a random bowling night.

If going out is not the best option, there are plenty of surprise dates you could have in the comfort of your home. Set up a blanket fort in the living room with christmas lights inside and wine and cheese. Or have a stay-at-home campout, with a backyard fire and marshmallow roasting in sleeping bags.
