30 of the Most Famous Scorpios in History

The eighth astrological sign in the Zodiac, Scorpios are a passionate bunch. They are loyal, smart, and resilient, but also play their cards close to their chest. Scorpios like to keep their private life private, and can often come across as standoffish. But they are also water signs, meaning that underneath the tough exterior is a kind, intimate, and caring person with a strong belief system who also loves being in control. It doesn’t matter whether you are an everyday day Joe or one of the many famous Scorpios in the entertainment world, people born under the rule of Pluto are authentic individuals with a lot to give.

To celebrate these intense and fearless people born between October 23 – November 21, here are 30 of the most famous Scorpios in history. Get ready for Scorpio season!

30 of the Most Famous Scorpios in History

The Deadpool star is married to Blake Lively, a Virgo, making the couple a perfect astrological match. The Canadian actor has come a long way from starring in the 90s sitcom Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place. Reynolds is now one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood and a smart businessman. His investment in Aviation Gin has earned him hundreds of millions. He’s also part owner of Welsh football club Wrexham AFC alongside good buddy Rob McElhenney.

2. Julia Roberts (October 28, 1967)

One of the most bankable stars in Hollywood, Julia Roberts has had an incredible career thus far. The star of classic romantic flicks Pretty Woman, Notting Hill, and My Best Freind’s Wedding has been the toast of the town for over three decades. Like any good Scorpio, she is notoriously private and likes to keep her family shielded from the spotlight.

3. Ryan Gosling (November 12, 1980)

It’s no coincidence Ryan Gosling wears a jacket with a Scorpio print in cult classic Drive. The handsome and talented Canadian is a classic Scorpio who is ambitious but also fiercely private like Julia Roberts. He and his longtime partner Eva Mendes are rarely seen with their kids in public and do their best to keep that part of their lives away from the tabloids.

Rumored to be heading Coacheall in 2023, Frank Ocean is one of this generation’s greatest voices. Despite his limited output, whenever Ocean does drop music it’s an event. His last album, Blonde, was released in 2016 and remains a classic modern R&B record. Since then Ocean has been concentrating on his fashion project, Homer, and is in talks to direct his first feature film.

6. Katy Perry (October 25, 1984)

The Roar and Firework singer is what’s known as a triple Scorpio, meaning her sun, moon, and rising signs are all in Scorpio. This could be part of the reason why Katy Perry released the Scorpio SZN EP a few years back.

7. Joaquin Phoenix (October 28, 1974)

Another Scorpio man who likes his privacy, Joaquin Phoenix continues to be in the spotlight thanks to his stellar performances. The winner of the Best Actor at the 2020 Academy Awards has appeared in more than a dozen of incredible flicks. The Joker, Walk the Line, The Master, and You Were Never Really Here are just four of his best features worth your time.

8. Emma Stone (November 6, 1988)

Scorpios are known for being vengeful, but this is not something that bothers La La Land star Emma Stone. Speaking with the Sunday Express she explained: “My revenge has only ever been in silence. My mom has always told me, ‘Kill them with kindness,’ because being nice is a way to get at people who have done you wrong. With revenge, I’ve never felt like it’s worth the energy. Silence is better. If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all, right?” Wise words.

9. Drake (October 24, 1986)

Famous Scorpio celebrities don’t get much bigger than Aubrey Drake Graham. Arguably the biggest male music star in the world, Drake has smashed just about every record there is on the way to the top. Scorpios can often get in their feelings, which is exactly what Drake does with his music. So much so that he followed in the footsteps of Katy Perry and named an entire album (Scorpion) after his star sign.

10. Kendall Jenner (November 3, 1995)

It’s no wonder Kendall Jenner is the quietest of the Kardashian clan: she’s a classic Scorpio woman. The highest-paid model in the world doesn’t chase the bright lights of Hollywood as much as her sisters, although she still loves any opportunity to get snapped by the paps or post thirst traps on Instagram

11. Theodore Roosevelt (October 27, 1858)

The 26th President of the United States was a Scorpio. Theodore Roosevelt, or Teddy to his friends, served two terms between 1901 to 1909. He was one of the many government officials responsible for Progressive politics. As a Scorpio, he embodied the traits of trust, communication, and truth, which no doubt helped him while in office.

12. Anne Hathaway (born November 12, 1982)

Anne Hathaway kick-started her career with the lead role in the Disney comedy The Princess Diaries. Since then she has gone from strength to strength, starring in hits such as Love & Other Drugs,  Les Misérables, and Interstellar, and becoming one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood. She also has four planets fall under her birthday, the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter, making her a fully-fledged Scorpio.

13. Pete Davidson (November 16, 1993)

The former Saturday Night Live star gets his “Big Dick Energy” from his status as a Scorpio. The funny man’s popularity has grown exponentially over the past few years, thanks in no part to his association with girlfriend Kim Kardashian. He’s doing alright for a weedy, tattooed kid from New York.

14. Gabrielle Union (October 29, 1972)

Not only is her daughter, Kaavia, a Scorpio, but Gabrielle Union’s good friend Tracee Ellis Ross is also born under the same Zodiac sign. What’s more, the two share the same birthday!

It seems her daughter is already prepping for Scorpio season, telling Essence that Kaavia is already showing classic Scorpio traits. “She’s very specific,” she said. “She likes what she likes, and she doesn’t [like] what she doesn’t.”

15. Pablo Picasso (25 October 1881)

Alexander Tolstykh/Shutterstock

Scorpios are passionate beings, and few can argue about the verve Pablo Picasso had for his art. He is one of the most influential artists of the 20th century whose creations were always mind-boggling. Some of Picasso’s best works include The Weeping Woman, Portrait of Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler, and Le Rêve. His art is housed in several museums across the globe.

16. Winona Ryder (October 29, 1971)

Andrea Raffin/Shutterstock

Famous Scorpios such as Winona Ryder seemingly embrace their star sign. Scorpios are known to be associated with the occult and paranormal, which when you take into account Ryder’s filmography (Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Stranger Things), make her the perfect fit for the Zodiac sign.

17. Future (November 20, 1983)

stock_photo_world/Shutterstock

Is it a coincidence that Atlanta-born Future named his first album Pluto, the ruling planet of Scorpios? We think not. The American rapper has released nine albums and countless mixtapes and collaborative records since bursting onto the scene a decade ago.

18. Kris Jenner (November 5, 1955)

The leader of the Kardashian family is a famous Scorpio just like her daughter Kendall. The glue that keeps the family together, Jenner is the one responsible for the rise of the Kardashian clan. Whether you agree with the way she has exploited her daughters for fame over the years, it’s hard to argue with the results. Everyone in the family is a multi-millionaire.

19. Adam Driver (November 19, 1983)

American actor Adam Driver has come a long way since co-starring in Lena Dunham’s Girls. Hailed by Martin Scorsese as “one of the finest, if not the finest” actors of this generation, Driver is the latest leading man to make an impact in Hollywood.

Never one afraid of tackling interesting roles, he’s played everything from a Jedi in the new Star Wars films and a knight in The Last Duel to a divorcee in Marriage Story and famous fashion designer Maurizio Gucci in House of Gucci.

20. Hillary Clinton (October 26, 1947)

Former Presidential campaigner Hillary Clinton is another with the Scorpio Zodiac sign. For decades she stood by her husband and former President of the United States, Bill Clinton, before branching out on her own. While she didn’t achieve her goal of becoming the first woman to govern America, she has had a massive impact on the American political landscape.

21. Travis Barker (November 14, 1975)

The Blink-182 drummer is the latest Scorpio to join the Kardashian clan after marrying Kourtney. Easily in the top ten best drummers on the planet, Travis Barker is a musician, producer, and occasional TV star. Now that he is a Kardashian, he has truly crossed over into the pop culture mainstream.

22. Rachel McAdams (November 17, 1978)

Just scraping in as a Scorpio, Rachel McAdams is a Canadian actress with a long list of hits. Making her debut in The Hot Chick, she followed this with a notable turn in Mean Girls and a leading role in The Notebook. These performances quickly established her as a Hollywood mainstay and she has continued to flourish with every new role she takes.

23. Martin Luther (10 November 1483)

Sammy33/Shutterstock

Probably the least well-known name on this list, Martin Luther was the man responsible for the creation of the Lutheran religion. It’s a branch of Christianity that evolved during the 16th century that is still going strong today.

24. Lisa Bonet (November 16, 1967)

Tinseltown/Shutterstock

For someone who is very well known for her on-screen talents, Lisa Bonet hasn’t done a great deal of acting. She’s only appeared in eight films since breaking out in the 80s and hasn’t done any film or television work for six years.

It appears she is very happy living the quiet Scorpio life, as she once told Porter Magazine. She talked about living in a house that’s “quiet, tranquil, and, yeah, a bit reclusive” and believed this is due to her “Scorpio nature.”

25. Stanley Tucci (November 11, 1960)

magicinfoto/Shutterstock

Stanley Tucci oozes passion, making him the ideal Scorpio. Whether he’s rehearsing for an acting role, making the perfect Negroni, or touring Italy, Tucci has boundless enthusiasm for the things he enjoys.

26. Goldie Hawn (November 21, 1945)

Rena Schild/Shutterstock

Another Scorpio on the cusp of being a different star sign, Goldie Hawn falls under the planets of the Sun and Venus. These days she rarely acts (and hasn’t really done so for the past two decades), preferring to spend time with her children and long-time partner Kurt Russell. He is a Pisces, a perfect match for a Scorpio, which is why the two have been together for almost four decades.

27. Leonardo DiCaprio (November 11, 1974)

Andrea Raffin/Shutterstock

Loyal to his mates before he became successful and passionate about the environment, Leonardo DiCaprio has all the tell-tale Scorpio traits. The Academy Award winner is not only a tremendous actor but an eco-warrior doing his bit to save the planet.

28. Björk (November 21, 1965)

Featureflash Photo Agency/Shutterstock

While the Icelandic singer might not be a big believer in the Scorpio personality, she does enjoy the symbolism. “My mum is heavily into these things, and apparently I’m as much Scorpio as one can be,” she said in a 1995 interview with Jon Savage. “To me, whether it means something or not – fuck that, I just love the symbolism of it. It’s pretty, like Greek and Nordic mythologies. I’m supposed to be run by Pluto. It’s like a fairy tale; it simplifies things.”

29. Penn Badgley (November 1, 1986)

Tinseltown/Shutterstock

Just because Penn Badgley plays a psycho Scorpio in You doesn’t mean he is one in real life. Well, at least not that we know.

30. Vanessa and Nick Lachey November 9, 1980 and 1973)

Not only are Vanessa and Nick Lachey both Scorpios, but they were born on the same day! How’s that for symmetry!
