Imagine the most iconic European landmarks coming to life on paper! Unclear? Well, Italian artist Pietro Cataudella is literally bringing Europe’s most famous landmarks to life for us with his art techniques.

Cataudella is sketching these amazing images and then creating a half-sketch-half-photograph mix to create something surreal. He has showcased these wonderful creations on his Instagram account named citylivesketch. By bringing together his work and historical structures, he is creating a unique 3D-like image that is breaking the internet!
Cattella began the project in Sicily in 2014 and subsequently toured Europe to capture classic sites such as the Colosseum in Rome, the Eiffel Tower in Paris and Tower Bridge in London.

“This project is a combination of my passion for drawing, photography and travelling. The goal is to show beauty in a different way using only your skills, creativity and imagination. “I never studied illustration, architecture or other related subjects,” he said.
