Produced by David Fincher and Charlize Theron and created by Joe Penhall, this high -quality thriller is interested in serial killers, who have been fascinating the public for years. Inspired by books Mindhunter: in the head of a profiler And The killer in front of me Written by John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker, Mindhunter returns to the beginnings of the profession of profileur and psychological research on serial killers within the FBI in the 1970s.
Broadcast from 2017 to 2019, this series, carried by Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany and Anna Torv was rented by the public and criticism but has never been entitled to a season 3. For six years, many rumors on a potential return, despite its substantial budget, were good train.
Until David Fincher puts a term last year by indicating that Mindhunter would not have a season 3, because the Netflix series “did not attract enough audience to justify an investment” for new episodes.
“Mindhunter” could come back … but not as you imagine
New twist, Mindhunter could finally come back … in the form of films! This is what Holt McCallany seems to indicate, questioned on the subject by Cbr During the promotion of his new series The Waterfront:
“I met David Fincher in his office a few months ago, and he told me that it was possible that she will come back in the form of three two -hour films, but I think it's just a chance. I know there are work -working writers, but David must be satisfied with the scenarios.”
