Jharkhand SSC CGL Selection Process 2023
The recruitment of candidates for various vacant posts under the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission is based on two stages:
Stage 1- Written Exam (Paper 1, 2 & 3)
Stage 2- Document Verification
The students who successfully qualify the JSSC CGL Recruitment 2023 written exam exam are only eligible to apply for document verification.
JSSC CGL Exam Pattern 2023
There will be 3 papers in JSSC CGL 2023 Exam which will be of 2 hours duration each. The marks distribution and number of questions of each paper has been tabulated below.

JSSC CGL Paper 1 Exam Pattern 2023
- Paper 1 comprises a language paper- Hindi Language and English Language.
- Questions are objective multiple-choice type questions.
- The questions are based on Unseen Passage and Grammer.
- Paper 1 exam is qualifying in nature.
- It will be necessary for the candidates to bring 30% marks for qualifying.

JSSC CGL Paper 2 Exam Pattern 2023
- JSSC CGL Paper 2 consists of a regional or selected language paper.
- Questions are objective multiple-choice type questions for 100 marks.
- Each Question carries 3 Marks and for every wrong question, 1 mark is deducted.
- The questions will be set in Hindi and English language.

- Paper-1 checks the knowledge of the candidates in both Hindi as well as English language and is qualifying in nature.
- The qualifying marks of Paper-1 is 30% of the total marks.
