TS EDCET Result 2024, Check Minimum Qualifying Marks and Scorecard
The Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EDCET) was conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) on 23 May 2024 across the state. The organization is expected to declare the results of this exam in the last week of June.
Like every year, a large number of candidates took this entrance test. Now, exam takers are waiting for the announcement of the TS EDCET Result. The officials will declare the result of the TSCHE’s official website at edcet.tsche.ac.in. Candidates can check their results by entering the application registration number and date of birth into the login portal.
The education department will issue the scorecard of the shortlisted candidates with the final result. It will be accessible on the same portal. Candidates can download their scorecards from there.

The TS EDCET Examination aims to offer admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Higher Education offered by various government institutions.
TS EDCET Examination Schedule & Exam Overview
This examination was conducted in two shifts: Morning and Afternoon. The morning session was from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and the afternoon session was completed from 02:00 pm to 04:00 pm.
This examination was divided into three Parts: A, B & C, conducted offline. Parts A & B were common for all candidates, and Part C included the questions on the methodology chosen by the candidates. All questions were multiple-choice-based, with a total of 150 marks. The duration to complete this entrance was 02 hours.
Telangana State EDCET Result Preparation Process
First, candidates can check the “TS EDCET Answer Key“ on the official website. Candidates must cross-check their answers with these keys. It is required to double-check the answers to avoid the discrepancies.
Generally, the answer key is released in two phases. First, a provisional answer key is published. Candidates are asked to “Raise Objections against the provisional key” if incorrect answers are found in the provisional key.
After reviewing the objections, the department releases the revised answer key on the website. Based on this final key, the written test results are prepared and published on the portal.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
The education department has set the level of passing the examination by minimum qualifying marks. It is decided that those who will get the 25% marks are eligible to take admission in various UG and PG courses. The marks obtained in this entrance will decide whether a candidate is eligible for admission. Those who get a higher score than the minimum qualifying marks will be eligible to be admitted to Telangana’s most renowned universities or institutes.
Merit List – Rank Card/Scorecard
The board of the examination authority will release the final result as a merit list. A merit list is the scorecard of the shortlisted candidates, which shows the name, roll number, passing marks and subject-wise marks of the candidates. The officials will provide the scorecards officially and candidates have to take the hard copy of the scorecard for further admission process.
