MH SET Application Form

The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has started accepting online application forms for the MH SET Examination 2024 through the official website https://setexam.unipune.ac.in/. Candidates can apply for MH SET through online only. Application in other formats will not be accepted. The online application will be available active till 31st January 2024. Candidates can also submit their application from 01st to 07th February 2024 along with the late fee of Rs. 500/-. Steps to Apply Online MH SET Application Form

Aspiring candidates who fulfil the eligibility parameters for the MH SET examination can apply online for MH SET examination from the official website https://setexam.unipune.ac.in/. Candidates can follow the steps shared below.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) at https://setexam.unipune.ac.in/.

Step 2: On the homepage Click on “Apply Now” and register yourself by providing a valid e-mail ID and mobile number.

Step 3: A unique registration ID will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number.

Step 4: After the successful registration process submit your application form by providing the personal details, education, and other required details.

Step 5: Upload a scanned copy of your Photo and Signature (Photo Size: 50KB JPG/JPEG)/(Signature Size: 30KB JPG/JPEG).

Step 6: Pay the application fee for the MH SET Examination as per category.

Step 7: Download and save the MH SET application form and keep it for future reference.

MH SET 2024 Application Fee

Candidates will be required to pay a category-wise MH SET Examination fee while submitting the application forms. Candidates must submit their application fee before the last registration date. Without paying the application fee candidates’ application forms will not be accepted. The application fee will be paid only by Debit Card/ Credit Card to Internet Banking. Candidates from the open category will have to pay Rs. 800/- and candidates from the reserved category will be required to pay Rs. 650/-. MH SET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are suggested to go through the MH SET Notification PDF before submitting the online application forms for the 39th MH State Eligibility Test. Only those candidates who fulfill the eligibility parameters in the form of educational qualification and age limit for the MH SET Examination will be eligible to apply online for the examination. MH SET Eligibility criteria are as follows:

MH SET Educational Qualification

  • The candidates must have completed their Master’s Degree/ Post Graduation form recognized by U.G.C., in a subject of SET.
  • Candidates from the general category must have secured at least 55% marks (without gracing or rounding off )in the Master’s or equivalent examination.
  • Candidates from OBC/ SBC/DT(VJ)/NT [belonging to non-creamy layer and SC/ST//Trans genders/PwD/Orphans must be required to secure at least 50% marks (without gracing or rounding off) in Masters or equivalent Examination.
  • Candidates can appear for the MH SET Exam in the subject of their Post Graduation only e.g. Commerce: M.Com., Environmental Science, M.Sc. Env. Sci., Life Science, M.Sc. Life Science/Botany/Zoology/Microbiology/ Biotechnology etc., Home Science: M.Sc., M.A. Home Science.

MH SET Notification 2024 Selection Process

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) will conduct an objective type written examination to recruit eligible candidates for Assistant Professor posts. The eligibility of the candidates for Assistant Professor posts will be determined by the candidate’s scored marks in two papers taken together equal to or greater than the qualifying cutoff % aggregate marks. Candidates must have appeared in both the papers and candidates from the general category have to secure at least 40% aggregate marks and candidates from the reserved category are required to score at least 35% aggregate in the examination.

MH SET 2024 Exam Pattern

  • MH SET will be conducted offline in Objective Mode.
  • The Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH SET) will consist of two papers. Both papers will consist of only objective-type questions.
  • Paper 1 will consist of a test of reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness of the candidate. In Paper 1 each question will carry 02 marks.
  • Paper 2 shall consist of one hundred (100) objective-type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry two marks.
