Andhra Pradesh Government’s Department of School Education has conducted the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 from 27th February to 9th March 2024. AP TET Results 2024 has been on hold for almost three months due to the implementation of the model code of conduct (MCC) in Andhra Pradesh in line with the Lok Sabha Polls in 2024. How to Check AP TET Results 2024?
After Candidates get access to the link, the Andhra Pradesh TET Result 2024 can be checked. To check the AP TET Results 2024 follow the simple steps given below:
- Visit the official website of the Andhra Pradesh TET, www.aptet.apcfss.in.
- Then you’ll get a popup and Click on the Candidate’s Login Page.
- Enter Candidate ID, DOB (dd/mm/yyyy), and verification code.
- Click on the AP TET 2024 Results Download link. Read the instructions carefully written.
- Enter candidate ID or mobile number and date of birth as used at the time of registration.
- Download the AP TET Results 2024 for future reference.
AP TET Minimum Qualifying Marks
The minimum qualifying marks to pass the teacher eligibility test are considered the AP TET Cut-off marks. To receive the AP TET certificate, the candidates must score more than the passing marks as per their category. The minimum qualifying marks for the general category is 60%, for the BC category is 50%, and for the SC, ST, and PWD categories, it is 40%.
Only those candidates who score more than the minimum qualifying marks will be declared qualified and issued with an AP TET 2024 certificate. The certificate notifying that the candidate is qualified to apply for teaching positions in public institutions is a crucial document.

What After AP TET Results 2024?
Just qualifying for the AP TET does not mean you become a teacher, AP TET is merely one of the eligibility criteria for teacher appointment in AP state. Candidates who score more than qualifying marks in the APTET exam will be eligible to apply for recruitment as teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in Andhra Pradesh state. In any recruitment process, APTET scores have 20% weightage, and Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) scores have 80% weightage.
AP TET 2024 Certificate
According to NCTE guidelines, the AP TET Certificate or Marks Memo will remain valid for a lifetime. The candidate who clears AP TET Exam will be issued with a Certificate which includes details as mentioned below-
- Name of the candidate
- Registration Number
- Year/ Month of Award of Certificate
- Marks obtained in each Paper
- Class level of its validity (Class 1 to 5, Class 6 to 8 or both)
