KPSC KAS Exam Date 2024 Postponed, Check New Schedule

The Karnataka Public Service Commission has issued a notification regarding the rescheduling of the KPSC KAS Exam 2024. Scheduled for 21st July 2024, the prelims exam will now be conducted on 25th August 2024. This exam will be held in two sessions at various designated centers across the state. The annual examination serves as the selection process for Gazetted Probationer Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ positions. It involves a comprehensive assessment process that determines their eligibility for these respected roles.

KPSC KAS Exam Date 2024 Postponed

There are a total of 384 vacancies available across Group A and Group B categories. The KPSC organizes the Karnataka Administrative Services (KAS) exam to fill Gazetted Probationer posts within the Karnataka Government. Candidates will undergo a selection process comprising preliminary exams, mains, and an interview. The preliminary exam is divided into two papers: Paper I, scheduled from 10 am to 12 pm, and Paper II, from 2 pm to 4 pm. The KPSC KAS Admit Card 2024 for the prelim exam will be available seven to eight days before the exam date. KPSC KAS Exam Schedule 2024

The KPSC KAS Exam 2024 has been scheduled for 25th August 2024. This examination will consist of two papers and will be conducted in two separate shifts on the same day. Paper 1, which covers General Studies and Humanities, is scheduled to take place from 10 am to 12 pm.

KPSC KAS Exam Pattern 2024

The KPSC KAS exam is structured in three stages: prelims, mains, and an interview. Candidates must successfully clear the prelims stage to progress further in the selection process. The exam comprises two papers conducted offline. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 consist of objective-type questions designed to assess candidates’ knowledge and aptitude across various subjects

  • Both papers carrying a maximum score of 200 marks.
  • For each correct answer, you will be awarded 2 marks.
  • There is a penalty for incorrect answers, with 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong one.
  • Each paper duration is 2 hours.
