A Close-Up Look at the Adidas x C.P. Company Kamanda

Like anyone, we’re huge fans of high profile collaborations, and last week saw the news that adidas Originals were joining forces with none other than C.P. Company to work on the brand new Kamanda silhouette. Of course, we’ve got the latest right here.

Last month we saw leaked images of a brand new adidas Orignals silhouette, the Kamanda. It utilises modern technologies whilst still retaining a very classic adidas look. More recently, images of a collaboration between the legendary C.P. Company and adidas surfaced, and the model of choice was the Kamanda. We’ve now got our hands on some on foot pictures of the collaboration, and it looks pretty good to us.

The sneakers feature a brand new sole system, giving the classic looking upper and updated look. Speaking of the upper, it’s reminiscent of legendary adidas soccer silhouettes such as the Gazelle or Samba, however it also has modern touch to it, such as the exaggerated heel support. Dual branding is featured throughout on the insoles and tongue of the sneakers.

If you’re as keen as we are on this collaboration, unfortunately you’re going to have to sit tight for the time being. Upon its release, the model may well be limited, so you better be ready to cop your pair quick time if you’re dead set on these. A classic C.P. Company goggle jacket will also be launching alongside these, featuring adidas branding and a matching colourway.
