The Air Max 1 is a legendary silhouette, with countless of colourways releasing over the years. Now, Nike are launching a brand new “OG” colourway to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the model. Coming in Aqua and Purple it’s sure to be a hit.
Last week we saw the re-release of the classic “Royal” colourway of the Air Max 1, and the week before the “University Red” edition. Now, continuing the Air Max 1 30th anniversary celebrations, Nike have unveiled a brand new OG colourway. Following a white/aqua/purple colourway, it’s exceptionally clean and is already destined to be a future classic.
The purple detailing and insoles offset the aqua perfectly, and of course the white base layer sits well alongside the colours. All the usual Air Max 1 features are present here, and Nike Air Max branding can be found on the tongue and rear of the sneaker. Nike’s iconic Swoosh sits on the side of the sneaker, whilst mesh panels adorn the toe box.
If you’re looking to pick up a pair of these future classics, unfortunately no exact release date has been announced yet, but we have been told to expect the pair at some point this November. There may well be a significant amount of hype surrounding these, as they are one of the cleanest brand new Air Max 1 colourways we’ve seen in a while.
