One of Copenhagen’s finest boutiques turned menswear brand, Norse Projects create clothing for the stylish, modern man. They’ve teamed up with Adidas consortium to bring us 2 brand new sneaker designs, titled the “Layers” pack.
Adidas have been churning out some impressive collaborations lately, and this looks set to continue for the foreseeable future. Yesterday they announced their collaboration with Danish streetwear designers Norse Projects. The pair have leaked images of two silhouettes, an Adidas campus 80’s and an Adidas Terrex Agravic.
The Terrex Agravic is a model that is rarely released, so it’s an interesting choice. The clean looking runner silhouette fits Norse Projects aesthetic perfectly though, and is packed full of unique features such as a water proof GORE-TEX lining. The outsole is created from a specialist rubber from German tyre company Continental. The collaboration takes it’s inspiration from the vast coastal cliffs of Denmark, according to Norse Projects, and this can be seen in the promotional images.
The Campus 80’s silhouette keeps things a little simpler, following an asphalt colourway and featuring a primeknit upper, if the Terrex Agravic is a little too techy for you, and you like to keep things classic, this is definitely a great alternative. Both pairs of the Adidas x Norse Projects sneakers will be releasing globally on August 19th via the Norse Projects website and Adidas Consortium accounts.
