AP TET Result 2024- Minimum Qualifying Marks
The minimum qualifying marks to pass the teacher eligibility test are considered the AP TET Cut-off marks. To receive the AP TET certificate, the candidates must score more than the passing marks as per their category. The qualifying marks for the general category are 60%, for Backward Class are 50% and for SC/ ST/ Differently abled (PH) & Ex-servicemen are 40%.

AP TET Normalization Formula 2024
Normalization is the equalizing of marks for candidates who appeared in different shifts considering the variation in difficulty levels for different shift exams.
Normalization mark of jth candidates in ith shift Mij is given by:
= Normalized marks of the jth candidate in the ith shift.
= is the average mark of the top 0.1% of the candidates
considering all shifts (the number of candidates will be rounded – up)
= is the sum of the mean and standard deviation marks of the candidates in the examination considering all shifts.

What After AP TET Results 2024?
Just qualifying for the AP TET does not mean you become a teacher, AP TET is merely one of the eligibility criteria for teacher appointment in AP state. Candidates who score more than qualifying marks in the APTET exam will be eligible to apply for recruitment as teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in Andhra Pradesh state. In any recruitment process, APTET scores have 20% weightage, and Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) scores have 80% weightage.
