A real surprise hit of 2021, Arcane has enjoyed unprecedented success on Netflix. So much so that the series is now considered by AlloCiné users to be one of the best of all time, with an average rating of 4.6 out of 5. A triumph that is no stranger to the excellent work of the teams at the French animation studio Fortiche!

Arcane takes place in a steampunk universe, where two twin cities face each other: the very rich Piltover, and the city of the slums Zaun. As a terrible war is brewing, two sisters find themselves inadvertently drawn into opposing camps. Will Vi be able to reason with her younger sister Jinx, who has become an uncontrollable weapon of destruction?
Season 2 will reveal the outcome of this fight between the two sisters. While emotion will once again be there, action will not be left behind, as evidenced by the spectacular new trailer unveiled by Netflix. Additional information will be provided to us during Geeked Week, starting September 16.
More League of Legends series coming soon!
The news that Arcane was being canceled in its second season came as a bombshell to fans. But it was the most reasonable decision after all, in order not to affect the quality of the show by stretching out the original plot. However, it was also announced that other series from the LoL universe will soon be released on Netflix.
Season 1, which had broken audience records, was the subject of a new broadcast format on Netflix: the platform thus unveiled the episodes in waves of three every Sunday. This weekly broadcast was also the subject of significant promotion on social networks, but also on specialized Twitch accounts.
Season 2 of Arcane will be available from November (the exact date has not yet been announced), exclusively on Netflix.
