Japanese retailer Atmos has built up a name for itself by creating several high profile Nike collaborations. The brand has just unveiled its latest collaboration, coming in the form of an Air Max 90.
I’m sure the recent Atmos x Nike “Animal Pack” that launched just last week is still fresh in the memory of many. Well now, Atmos has gotten straight back to work. The retailer has unveiled an Air Max 90 titled the “Shoebox” via the cover of Japanese sneaker magazine “Shoesmaster”. The AM90 essentially follows the classic “Infrared” colourway, with one rather significant difference. The upper of the sneaker is totally covered in Nike shoe boxes from over the years.
From this first look, the sneakers are certainly going to be a statement pair. They’re looking set to be an OG Air Max heads dream. All the usual Air Max 90 features are present here, including the exaggerated heel section and fully visible air unit. Both Nike and Air Max branding is featured throughout as you’d expect.
As of yet, there’s been no more images or an official release date released. Knowing Atmos, we wouldn’t be surprised if this release was unexpected, and potentially a Japan exclusive. The pair are also likely to be a limited release, so if you’re already wanting to cop then make sure you stay in the know. As soon as we know more we’ll be the first to update you, so keep checks on our blog for the latest.
