At a recent Microsoft event, the latest model of Microsoft Surface Pro 8 was unveiled. According to reports, the new Microsoft Surface Pro 8 is twice as fast than the previous model. Microsoft has reduced the bezels at the sides of the screen, something we have wanted for many years. This allows the screen to grow to 13 inches, making it the largest Surface yet. An optional upgrade is the 120Hz refresh rate. The two USB-C ports were also taken out, leaving only two. The headphone jack was left intact (wink, wink Apple).

Microsoft Surface Pro 7
The Microsoft Surface Pro X was updated with the seventh version of its Surface Pro. Microsoft decided to keep it conservative and not play too much with a winning formula for this update. It was a smart move. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 retains all the great features of the Pro 6, with some subtle improvements such as newer Intel Core CPUs, and the addition of a high speed USB-C port.
The Surface Pro 7 has some minor, but very welcome, updates. It still features the stunning 3:2 PixelSense touchscreen, great build quality, as well as a Type Cover keyboard that seamlessly integrates with it. Like a 2-inch keyboard. 1 ultrabook laptop. We have one complaint: it doesn’t include the keyboard cover. Surface Pro deals and ongoing sales will help to alleviate this.
Microsoft Surface Pro X
Microsoft launched two new Surface devices in 2019: the Surface Pro X and the Surface Pro 7 update. Although the Pro 7 was a minor upgrade to the mainline Surface Pro series of devices, the Microsoft Surface Pro X gave us the much-needed facelift that we have been waiting for. Most notably, Microsoft removed the thick bezels around the screen. This was one of the few complaints we had with older Surface Pro models (including newer Pro 7).
Although it’s slower than the Surface Pro 7 and Pro 8, the main problem is that the Microsoft Surface Pro X has a thinner and lighter body. It’s actually the thinnest Surface at just 0.2 inches. The slimmer bezels also allow for more screen space with the larger 13-inch 1920p PixelSense touchscreen (for an additional 0.7 inches). Surface Pro X is the ultimate package. However, it’s also the most costly new member of Surface’s family. Smart shoppers should be aware of seasonal sales and take advantage of any discounts.
Microsoft surface go
The Microsoft Surface Go is a great option if you’re not looking to spend too much on one of the Surface Pro models. . The Surface Go 10-inch screen is a lower-end alternative to the Surface Pro line. It has a smaller screen and simpler hardware. Windows 10S (a stripped-down version of the Windows 10 operating system) is also available. While we don’t claim that it is the best Surface, it isn’t. But for only $400, it’s hard to resist this gift horse.
Surface Go is an excellent option for those who are looking for something smaller than the Surface Pro, or shoppers who just want something simple and affordable. It can be used as either a secondary 2-in-1 device for travel or as a basic web browser and a streaming device. It’s even better with past Microsoft Surface deals. Microsoft just released the second-generation Surface Go. While our review team found it a little too costly at launch, it is still worth considering if you are looking for hardware upgrades or a great deal.
