by Japanese sneaker retailer Billy’s has a long history of Vans collaborations, and for their latest effort, they’ve chosen the Chukka silhouette. Featuring velvet uppers, they’re certainly head turners.
Velvet is a luxury looking material and it suits the Chukka silhouette perfectly. The collaboration is going to be limited and will see four different colourways. Vans have been putting out some amazing collaborations recently, and this latest effort follows suit. 
All the pairs are luxury editions of the standard Chukka, featuring premium quality construction materials and added comfort. The colourful looks are finished off with a clean black midsole and black laces in contrast to the bright upper. If you’re after a pair of Vans that will set you apart from the crowd, these should definitely be one of the contenders. They’re also relatively affordable, albeit slightly more than the standard Chukka.
If you’re keen on getting your hands on a pair, they’re retailing exclusively at BILLY’s, via their webstore. They’re available right now for ¥9,504 YEN, which is around £60 – not too bad at all if you ask us. There’s no significant hype surrounding the release, but like any collaboration they are indeed limited, so won’t be around forever.
