A total of 162 vacancies have been released by the Border Security Force (BSF) for such as Sub-Inspector (Master, Engine Driver, and Workshop), Head Constable (Master, Engine Driver), HC Workshop (Mechanic, Electrician, Technician, Electronics posts. Application Fees

The candidates are required to pay – an application fee while filling out the application form for BSF Water Wing Recruitment 2024. The application fee amount to be paid for all the posts is different, every candidate needs to pay the fees else the application form will be rejected and the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the selection process. Eligibility Criteria

The parameters that are taken into consideration while evaluating the eligibility of the candidates for various posts under BSF Water Wing Recruitment 2024 are age limit, educational qualifications, and physical measurements. Age Limit

The candidates who are a minimum of 22 years of age and are not more than 28 years are eligible for the posts of SI (Master), and SI (Engine Driver), the minimum and the maximum age limit for other posts in BSF Water Wing Recruitment 2024 varies. Candidates belonging to  SC/ST/OST categories are provided 5 years of relaxation upon upper age limit.

Educational Qualifications

The candidates applying for the posts of HC (Master), HC (Engine Driver), and HC (Workshop) must have passed class 10th and have a certificate to be eligible for the posts, educational qualifications for other posts have been provided below.

Physical Measurements

To get selected for various posts in the BSF, the candidate’s physical measurements must be as per those specified by the official authorities. The recruitment body has notified that weight measurement will not be taken into consideration, height and chest of the candidates will be measured. For the Scheduled Tribes/Adivasis of all States and Union Territories including Nagas and Mizos candidates, the height should be 160 cm, and the chest should be 73-78 cm.

BSF Water Wing Selection Process

For the selection of eligible candidates out of a large number of applications, the recruitment body selects the candidates by conducting a selection process which involves five stages for the posts released under BSF Water Wing Recruitment 2024. The first stage involves a written exam and the second stage involves a physical test in which the physical fitness of the candidate is evaluated by considering certain norms, selected candidates have to appear for the skill test, and then document verification. At last, candidates who clear the previous four stages will appear for the medical examination.
