Bihar SSC CGL Selection Process 2023

Bihar Staff Selection Commission will be recruiting candidates for different vacant posts on the basis of two stages:

Stage 1- Prelims Exam

Stage 2- Mains Exam

Only those students who will clearly qualify for the Prelims Exam will be eligible to apply separately for the Mains Examination. For the Mains examination, BSSC CGL is expected to shortlist the applicants in the ratio of 1:5 with respect to the total number of available vacancies.

  1. The BSSC CGL Preliminary Exam 2023 is a qualifying exam that is objective in nature.
  2. For the BSSC CGL Prelims Students will get 2 hours and 15 minutes.
  3. Candidates qualifying the BSSC CGL Preliminary Exam will be eligible to appear for the BSSC CGL Mains Exam 2023.

BSSC CGL Mains Exam Pattern 2023

  1. The BSSC CGL Mains Exam 2023 will be held in form of 2 papers.
  2. Candidates would be getting  2 hours and 15 minutes for each paper.
  3. Paper 1 will comprise of a language paper (Hindi language) having 100 questions for a total of 400 marks.
  4. There will be minimum qualifying marks of 30% in paper 1 and Only the candidates securing 30 % marks will be eligible for paper 2.
  5. For the BSSC CGL Mains 2023 Paper 2 there will be 3 sections. The pattern and syllabus for paper-2 are similar to that of the BSSC CGL 2023 preliminary exam.
