The CBSE 10th English Syllabus 2023-24 is prescribed in such a way that it enables teachers to assess students’ interpretation, analysis, inference and evaluation. It also involves analysis of students’ creativity, imagination and extrapolation beyond the text and across the text. The topics covered under each section such as First Flight, Footprints without Feet and Words and Expressions-II.
