English Class 11 Syllabus 2023-24 [Core English]
English Class 11 Syllabus 2023-24 for Core English has been divided into 3 sections for theory which is of 80 marks in total. The theory part consists of Reading Comprehension, Creative writing skills and literature text books and supplementary reading texts. Whereas the rest 20 marks stands for the Assessment of Listening and Speaking Skills which consist of Listening Skills( 5 Marks), Speaking Skills(5 Marks), and Project Work(10 Marks). CBSE Class 11 Core English Syllabus Marking Scheme
The marking scheme given below for the CBSE Class 11 Core English Syllabus 2023-24 gives an idea of marks distribution of the question paper. The Internal Assessment includes listening skills, speaking skills and project work. Students must perform well in both theory paper and the internal assessment to obtain overall marks decent marks.
