As the CDS 1 Exam has already been conducted on 21st April 2024 and thousands of aspirants have appeared in the exam who wish to join the Indian Air Force, Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Officer’s Training Academy. Union Public Service Commission is held responsible for uploading CDS Results at its official website, www.upsc.gov.in. To access the UPSC CDS (Combined Defence Services) exam results, you need to visit the official UPSC website and follow the steps discussed below.
1. Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission at www.upsc.gov.in.
2. Now, you have to scroll down the page and click on “Written Results>> Examination Written Results”.
3. Click under the Download section opposite “Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2024”
4. UPSC CDS 1 2024 Result is given in PDF Format, download the CDS Result PDF.
5. Search for your name and roll no. Alternatively, press Ctrl+F and type your name or roll no.
6. If your name is highlighted in the list of qualified candidates, you will be eligible to appear for document verification.

What After CDS Result 2024?
The candidates whose roll numbers are mentioned in the CDS 1 Result PDF are required to submit the original certificates in support of age (Date of Birth), educational qualifications, NCC (C) (Army Wing/Senior Division Air Wing/Naval Wing) etc. claimed by them to IHQ of MoD (Army) / Dte Gen of Rtg (Rtg A) CDSE to the addresses as mentioned below-
1. Entry for SSC male candidates and SSC women entry for female candidates West Block III, R. K. Puram, New Delhi-110066
2. In the case of IMA/SSC first choice candidates and Naval HQ “DMPR” (OI & R Section), Room No. 204,‘C’ Wing, Sena Bhawan, New Delhi-110011

After completing the selection process for the UPSC CDS exam, the candidates have the chance to become officers in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, or Indian Air Force. The candidates will be posted as Lieutenants or Flying Officers, depending on their chosen service, after completing their training period. Officers who are recruited through CDS are commissioned into the Indian Armed Forces and receive a monthly salary between Rs. 56,100 and Rs. 2,50,000, depending on their rank and experience. They can serve for the nation for a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 14 years, after which they can either leave the service or extend it on a contractual basis.
