Champion and Casbia Join Forces to Make a Luxury Sneaker

Globally recognised sportswear giants Champion have teamed up with independent luxury sneaker brand Casbia to bring us a brand new silhouette. It’s not similar to anything we’ve seen before and sure is a treat to the eye, find out the latest below.

Champion aren’t exactly renowned for their sneakers, more their sportswear staples that have been around for decades. However, this is a partnership that no-one could of expected. Casbia footwear usually produce luxury leather sneakers at high price tags, worlds apart from Champion’s usual target market. The Champion x Casbia AWOL Atlanta combines the two brands aesthetic’s in a completely innovative way.

Featuring luxury calf leather throughout, and bespoke-made in Italy, these sneakers certainly aren’t one for the faint hearted. The champion print on the sole is a stand out feature too, not to mention the asymmetrical lacing and zipper system. The gold detailing on the white colourway is a particular stand-out, giving us OVO Jordan vibes. The shoe takes influences from Champion’s basketball heritage and combines this with Casbia’s luxury history. The outcome is amazing, it’s a collaboration that has been executed with a lot of thought behind it, and certainly isn’t something you see everyday.

Releasing in 4 different colourways (black, white, blue and grey), the sneakers are available now on Casbia’s webstore.
