We repeatedly asked private COVID hospitals in Goa — around 21 — to reserve 50% beds for COVID patients but they didn’t comply. Hence, Govt will take control of admissions at these hospitals from Monday. Govt will pay for the treatment at these hospitals: CM Pramod Sawant
These hospitals will be run by the hospital staff. We’re only taking control of admissions. A government officer will be stationed at each of these private hospitals, who will ensure that 50% of the beds are reserved for COVID-19 patients.
