Discovered on the internet thanks to humorous videos, she becomes an acclaimed filmmaker! Who is Eva Victor, director of Sorry, Baby? – Actus cinema

2019. On the Twitter social network, Eva Victor is known thanks to small sketches of one minute. Videos become viral and combine thousands of shares. Six years later, at 31, she closed the fifteen of filmmakers, in Cannes, with Sorry, Baby, feature film she makes, writes and in which she embodies the main role.

This American born in Paris – of which French is impeccable – is one of the new sensations of independent cinema across the Atlantic. His film was presented last January to the prestigious Sundance festival and receives a rave reception. Here, it's the same music.

With her character Agnès, a heroine who tries to rebuild herself after a sexual assault, the filmmaker touches the heart of her generation. So that at the end of the first session at the Croisette theater, this Thursday, May 22 at 10:30 am, a handful of young spectators head all around the director to ask her questions, congratulate her or simply thank her.
