For the first time, I and my other 2 friends were confused while traveling between Thailand and Sri Lanka. Our last trip to Singapore was a huge hit and since then, we had decided to take another with just three girls. We chose Thailand because it is the perfect place where you can have a bachelorette party and what better way to celebrate, given the fact that we are getting married soon! Thailand vacation never goes without the thrill of shopping. We shop from every place where we stayed, be it Phuket or Bangkok. The types of designs and fabrics you find in Thailand’s markets are definitely one-of-a-kind and are a must for every woman. Since it was just for us girls, we don’t know much about shopping for guys. Nirmal Kribee Beach

One of the best tourist destinations in Thailand, which every traveler should explore, is the beaches of Krabi. It is a place that lets you forget everything else in the world and you can relax on the beach with your pals along with your favorite beverages. You can also opt for snorkeling like I did. I was a pass for snorkeling and the guide helped me see all the beautiful underwater creatures.

Grand palaces and attractive temples

If you are fond of architectural work and magnificent beauty, which is enshrined in the huge creations of temples and palaces, then you should check out the people in Thailand. We went to Reclining Buddha temple and Grand Palace on our 5th day in Thailand. Even though it was a bit far from our stay and we had to take a taxi, the view was totally worth it! To ensure attractive jewelry decorated in these structures can not go without attention!

A foodie paradise

The kind of authentic cuisine in Thailand, no food like us will miss this experience. For this reason, me and my friends got mostly street food while we were to taste the uniqueness of this land. Coconut ice cream in Bangkok will make you crave more for a special presentation as it is served in a coconut shell itself. Various dishes made of rice with cocktails and local beer Chang were a perfect combo for us. We also had Pad Thai rice there. Even the McDonald’s menu has unlimited options for non-vegetarians, with beef burgers topping the list.

Perfect for traveling to Thailand, what you should do is research. It sounds like a lot. We had to do this for about a month and during that period, I also contacted some travel agents to get a good deal. You really need to set your mind on what you want to do in your journey. There is a lot that Thailand has to offer and given a specific budget, you really have to be thorough with your research. We also asked some friends and relatives about their experience when making decisions. What you should try to avoid here is a minimum holiday of at least 7 days in Thailand.

Tips for future travelers

As far as I know, people do not specifically explore Bangkok. They depart directly towards Phuket or Pattaya and then stop at Bangkok airport to return home. I would recommend visiting this magnificent capital city, as there are many good experiences for night life, and looking forward to shopping.

If you have to choose between Phuket and Pattaya, you have to choose Phuket according to me. From what I have gathered, there is a good crowd compared to Phuket. You can also grab a packaged food item from one of Thailand’s many 7/11 stores if you want to save more time and eat well. You just need to heat this food a bit and it is good to go.

This is if you do not want to try any of the amazing restaurants that shop this land!

a. According to me, from the months of November to February, this is an ideal time to visit Thailand. The weather is good and it is peak season. After March, there is more moisture and a sun tan as it will take longer for any Indian around that time to wear.

a. It depends from one person to another. Whichever place you want to stay or choose the kind of flight. If for a upper middle class person, your budget should be minimum including 60-70,000 hotels and everything. If you can cut your stay and flights, you can manage it with 50,000 as well.

Q. What is the best place to live in Thailand?

a. In Phuket, you can stay on Bungalow Road. I stayed at Girappon Hill Resort. This was completely different from the main market. You should stay near the main market area so that everything including beach, market, street food etc. can be enjoyed. In Bangkok you should stay on Khao San Road. This road is only 10 minutes from our hotel.

Q. What is Thailand famous for shopping?

a. Thai Candies. There are a lot of things that you can buy from Thailand. You can also buy a lot of food items from bags, clothes, watches etc. You must try street food while you are here. Many essential oils, candles, luggage bags and electronic items like television etc. are also purchased from here by many travelers. By comparison, many believe that electronics in Thailand are cheap and overall shipping and customs are not very high.

Q. How do you travel to Bangkok, Thailand?

a. Our package included airport transfers. While going to the market, we traveled on foot to most places, as our place was close to the markets. Whenever we had to make a ruckus, we took local cabs there, which were a bit expensive. We also took tuk-tuk on our vacation. Going to the Reclining Buddha temple, we booked a cab for our commute. You should stop at the main market so that only the major places are covered by foot.
