FSSAI Syllabus 2021

FSSAI Syllabus 2021: Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, ensures the availability of safe, healthy and sustainable food for all Indian citizens through their “Eat Right India”  movement. FSSAI conducts recruitment drives for various posts to fulfil their purpose regarding maintaining the standard of food and its safety. The syllabus for various posts appointed by FSSAI is shared in this article. Read on to know more.

FSSAI Syllabus 2021- Exam Pattern

FSSAI is going to conduct CBT (Computer Based Test) for various posts released in FSSAI Recruitment 2021. The exam pattern for FSSAI consists of two parts:

  1. General Aptitude and Computer Literacy: General Intelligence, General Awareness, English Language.
  2. Functional Knowledge Test.

FSSAI Exam Pattern – Main Highlights

The main highlights of the FSSAI CBT exam are as follows:

  • There will be 120 MCQ questions in total.
  • The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
  • Marks assigned for each correct answer: 4.
  • Marks deducted for an incorrect answer: 1.
  • General Aptitude and Computer Literacy: 25% weightage.
  • Functional Knowledge Test: 75% weightage.

General Aptitude and Computer Literacy section will be common for most posts. The sections covered under the Functional Knowledge Test will be different for each post to some extent.

Skill Test in Stenography: Candidates who have obtained qualifying marks in the exam will be called for Skill Test. The test pattern is as follows:

  • Dictation: 10 minutes in English/Hindi at the speed of 80 WPM.
  • Transcription on computer in English: 50 minutes.
  • Transcription on computer in Hindi: 65 minutes.

The FSSAI Syllabus of Food Analyst is as follows:
