Baby animals are very much like humans. They are fearless. It’s just because they don’t know any better. This young explorer decided to leave the others and see what is at the edge of the world. He neared the edge and saw that it continued down below.

Without a moment’s thought of the consequences of his next move, he took that bold step and saw his ass. Something tells me that he will think twice before trying such a bold move again. Lesson learned.

I won’t settle for crumbs

I never knew a pigeon could make a necklace for itself made from bread. This guy is clearly a forward thinker. He can already see the benefits of such a fine piece of jewelry. Not only is it pleasing to the eye, but it actually serves a purpose.

Even in nature, you get punished for eating too much. This ground squirrel had way too many nuts. As a result, his girth grew slightly wider than the hole he was trying to fit through.

Now, one has to wonder what made him get in that hole so quickly. Was it an eagle circling in the sky looking for a meal? If so, this little squirrel just gave that eagle the easiest meal it would ever have in its life.

Like mother always said, never play with your food. It might get stuck in your throat. This snake was not about to go down without a fight. By the looks of things, it was putting up quite the formidable fight. Small as it is, it actually looks as though it stands a chance.

However, it is in a bit of a catch-22 situation. If it squeezes too hard, it might snap its own spine. If it lets go a bit, this bird is going to have its way. Oh, what a pickle.

One too many

Pandas are amazing. They remind us of what happens when we have too much to drink. The best part of all is that they don’t even have to be drunk to end up in crazy positions like this. Isn’t there a yoga pose that is named The Panda?

Alright, Bambi. What you want to do is get a good mix of green and brown ferns to make it look super-authentic. When the hunters come, all you need to do is lay very still on the ground and you will blend right in.

Animals and their inquisitive nature never cease to amaze. They are like babies. You can buy them the coolest toy on the market and they end up playing with the box. Sonic over here was fascinated by the empty toilet roll.

I wonder if he thought it was a spyglass. Imagine his surprise when he ended up with a bad case of tunnel vision. Just look at the feeling of disappointment. He didn’t even have the strength to get out of his predicament.

Things that cats don’t like

Now we all know that cats don’t particularly love water, and rightly so. It takes them hours to groom themselves. Apparently, they aren’t the biggest fans of leaves either — especially when they find themselves right in the middle of an autumn leaf pile.

The mouse that it was chasing chose the perfect hiding spot. Hopefully, this cat will be so put off by the leaves that it will decide to leave as well.

That ain’t nice

When people are annoyed with each other, they do all kinds of nasty things to get revenge, but that seems like nothing in comparison to what polar bears do when they get offended. These two have obviously had a bit of a disagreement.

So what do they do? They get out of the pool, turn around, wait for the other one to surface and let a stream of urine loose on their face. How humiliating.

The decoy

Imagine the surprise of the eagle when he realizes that he has been duped by a couple of lowly rabbits. How humiliated he must feel when it dawns on him that he has been outsmarted by a couple of rodents.

He will be the laughing stock of the birds of prey. I am sure he will have no mercy when he finally gets his claws on the mastermind that outwitted him so cunningly.

Open it already

Don’t you just hate it when you buy someone a present and they try to take the wrapping paper off as gently as possible? As if anyone reuses the paper for another present. Get on with it already!

That was clearly not the case for this guy. He has no sentiments for wrapping paper. He just wants to get to the goodies on the inside. To his utter dismay, he finds that the box is in fact empty.

While we can’t know for sure why this raccoon was tryong to get inside the tank, we hope it was for peaceful purposes. Either way, we will never know as he only made it halfway and before finding himself stuck.

It took quite some time for soldiers to get the poor guy out safely, but the mission was accomplished and despite missing out on the ride of his life, the raccoon was happy to be free again.

Is there something on my face?

Now you have to wonder what hole this dog got himself into to cover his whole face in the mud. Whereever it was, it seemed like he had the time of his life. His owner, on the other hand, barely recognized him and nearly chased him away.

Then he realized it was his dog and wished that he had chased him away. Now he had to give him a bath. Can you imagine the mess he would have made if he was let loose inside the house?

Cruel prank

Don’t you just hate it when someone pulls a prank on you when you are still fast asleep? There are only but a few things that can get someone really mad in a very short space of time. This reindeer was not happy or in the mood to deal with the latest prank that his friends pulled on him.

Not only was he rudely awoken from his slumber, but they blinded him. Now he’ll never know who the culprit was.

Why are you wearing a hat, mom?

There are days when you just don’t want to be bothered by anyone. So what do you do when you are stuck in a cage with nowhere to go? Well, obviously you find the first drum that can fit over your head.

Tennis shoe love

There’s no doubt about it. Lots of smells that we humans find disgusting are very attractive to dogs. They tend to shy away from the fragrances we love, like perfume and cologne, but when it comes to things that smell repulsive, they’re as keen as mustard.

This little puppy seems to have discovered the doggy delight that is sniffing a tennis shoe. Having stuck his entire face in the shoe, the odor must have overcome him, and he’s out cold.

Give me five minutes

We all know the feeling. You’ve just had lunch, and you’re back in the office, settling down to work. Slowly but surely, a feeling of sleepiness washes over us, and before we know it, we’re virtually asleep at our desks.

One of the other fun things about young cats and dogs is the fact that because they’re small, they’re eminently portable. This guy’s found the solution for his kitten: put kitty in the pocket, kitty will sleep.

Bat dog

Did you ever have that dream as a kid that you were falling, falling, falling into nothingness, and ending up hitting the floor with a thud? Well, sometimes it happens that we roll around in bed a bit and end up rolling right off the bed.

That’s what happened to this pup, but she got lucky. There was another chair to prevent her from falling. Now that she’s hanging upside down, we think she looks a bit like a sleeping bat.
