Will the couple of super doctors, who have known over and over again, will he nevertheless get up from this test in the continuation of the medical series (which was renewed for a season 22)? During the 2025 edition of the Monte-Carlo television festival, Allociné spoke with Kevin McKidd, the interpreter of Owen since season 5. To our microphone, this one tease what awaits the characters:
“”I think it's going to be hard. Teddy abandons him at the end of season 21, I think they will go through a period of separation. During this phase, they will in my opinion really reassess the situation in relation to what is happening between them. I also think they will try to fight to understand each other … but it will be complicated for them, again! The poor! (laughs)“”

After her marriages failed with Cristina (Sandra Oh) then with Amelia (Caterina Scorsone), Owen could therefore live a new sentimental failure with Teddy (Kim Raver). But why does the former soldier not succeed in being happy in love? Kevin McKidd shares his analysis with us:
“”Owen has never been lucky in terms of a couple relationship. Admittedly, he lives moments of happiness but he remains a complicated guy. The women with whom he loves are always very strong, powerful and independent. They and Owen end up being in disagreement each time.“”
