Hibiscus for Hair Growth

The Hibiscus is a plant which has flowers in a vibrant color. This plant is rich in vitamin-C, vitamin-A and iron. It makes the hair super smooth and lustrous. It controls hair fall and hair infections like dandruff. It reduces frizz in an instant. Hibiscus gives deep nourishment to your strands and makes them healthy and strong. Hibiscus flower oil treats damaged hair.

Hibiscus and essential oil treatment for Hair regrowth

Oils like coconut and olive oil stimulates hair growth and controls all kinds of hair troubles. This treatment gives moisture to the locks and smoothes to the ends. Olive oil is rich in anti-oxidants and vitamin-E that treats damaged hair.

How to use it?

  • Take 5 full spoons of hibiscus flower powder
  • Add 5 full spoons of pure coconut oil in the bowl
  • Now also mix 3 full spoons of olive oil
  • Mix all the ingredients well using a hair brush or spoon
  • Comb your hair and section it into two parts
  • Now apply this hair pack onto the scalp and then follow the ends and tips
  • Tie your hairs in a bun or wear a shower cap for an hour
  • After that, rinse off with cold water and shampoo

Hibiscus as hair conditioner for damaged hair:

Hibiscus flower powder is enriched with essential vitamins and fats. Yoghurt is a great hair conditioning agent. It is rich in vitamin-C and lactic acid. It smoothes your hair and makes them super soft to touch.

How to use it?

  • Take 5 full spoons of hibiscus powder in a bowl
  • Add 1 cup of curd in it
  • Add 1 spoon of lavender oil
  • Half tablespoon of honey
  • Mix all the ingredients well
  • Now apply this hair pack onto your hair for 30 minutes
  • Do not forget to cover hair ends and scalp
  • Rinse it off with water and wash with shampoo.

Hibiscus as a Hair Cleanser:

We all search of a right shampoo according to our hair type, but most of the time we get disappointed with the results. So now you can make your own hair cleanser with gudhal and create a natural hair care treatment at home. Amla is widely used in Ayurvedic medicines as it is highly beneficial to the skin and hair. It is a good source of vitamin-C and vitamin-A that improve hair texture and increase shine.

How to use it?

  • Take half cup of hibiscus powder
  • Add 2 full spoons of amla powder
  • Mix 2 spoons of shikkai powder
  • Now damp your hair and lather all this mix using your hands
  • Massage it a little on the scalp and back area of your head
  • Now follow through the tips and ends of your hair
  • Be gentle, do not rub it harshly
  • After a foam is formed and hair is properly cleansed
  • Wash it with cold water
  • Follow the regular herbal conditioner

When to use and how often?

For best results use it regularly. Once in a week is sufficient.

Hibiscus and Amla for Growth and long hair

Amla is a very popular fruit that is known as Indian Gooseberry and is used for various hair care remedies. Amla is a rich source of natural vitamin C therefore, this fruit can help in decreasing the excessive hair fall and hair also in men and women. Even men are not spared from the hair problems. Mix both the powders and make paste using some powder. Apply and wash after 60 minutes.

Ginger and Hibiscus Leaves for hair re-growth

People who have lost their hair due to hair loss or thinning of hair can find relief in the homemade remedies with hibiscus. The reason is that hibiscus can stimulate the dormant follicles of the hair. So, once the hair that has been shed, it needs to grow back but at times, it does not happen. So, natural therapies like ginger root, amla, hibiscus etc can initiate the hair growth.

For this, you will need a piece of a ginger root and 3-5 hibiscus flowers. Put these two in the grinder and add around a cup of water. Now grind them, you will see that you get a paste of both of these products. This paste is our thing that we need to apply on the scalp and the hair as well. Wash this after 60 minutes for best results. Repeat this hibiscus ginger for hair growth treatment once in a week at least.

Yoghurt and Hibiscus hair mask for hair fall control

Hair masks are also considered the best when it comes to controlling the too much hair shedding and falling hair. Even men with alopecia can try hair masks to get sufficient amount of relief. Hair mask available in the market can be full of chemicals hence, when we make them at home; they are far more beneficial and effective in getting results.

Hair mask can also minimize the environmental pollution effects. This is the curd or yoghurt hair mask that we are making.

Take around 7-8 hibiscus flowers and ¼ cup of curd. If the hair is long then you can increase the amounts of these ingredients.

To make this hair masks for growth, you have to out the ingredients in the grinder and grind them. After grinding for 2-3 minutes only you obtain a smooth paste of yoghurt and hibiscus flower.

Apply this paste mask on the hair, scalp nicely and thoroughly, so that every individual hair strand is coated with the mask.

You need to leave this for at least 45 minutes.

Wash the hair with lukewarm water and then wrap a towel around the head and keep it for 15-20 minutes.

Then, let the hair get dried naturally.
