Back on the main opponent of the Harry Potter saga, terrifying nose without nose embodied by actor Ralph Fiennes.
What does it want to become an unforgettable villain of cinema or a bad guy who we forget as soon as the end of the end? Difficult to say. This can hold on to many details of his interpreter (his voice, his charisma), but also to the character himself (how much Machiavellian or psychopath?) Or his outfit and his presence.
What is certain is that Voldemort will remain in the memories of Harry Potter fans as one of the best bad guys in the history of cinema. Because under his appearance “of antagonist for children”, the Lord of Darkness really marked the cinema of the 2000s.
A thinking head

His first appearance is terrifying. From Harry Potter at the school of wizards, we discover him at the very end of the film, inlaid on the back of Professor Quirrell, transforming the defense professor against the forces of Hogwarts evil into an almost two head creatures including a cadaveric and serpentine face. At the time, we do not yet know who embodied him when he has taken up a human form, but he has already scared, so there is a good basis.

We will have to wait until Harry Potter and the Cup of Fire to see Voldemort come back in great shape, but it is also during this film that we have another vision of horror concerning him, that of his larval state before being resurrected. Again, the images left memories (nightmares?) To the youngest. It is also during this resurrection that poor Cedric Diggory (Robert Pattinson) coldly murdered.
A dictator
The order of the phoenix will show the mental domination that Voldemort can exercise on Harry and the link that unites them, the prince of blood-bloods reveals the madness in which Tom Jedusor fell to try to reach immortality via the relics called “horcruxes”. Finally, the last two films put Voldemort downright in power and reveal what his reign looks like by terror, while offering a duel of sorcerers at the top obviously opposing him to Harry.

The actor Ralph Fiennes manages to embody the permanent danger that occurs the fact of being in the presence of the Lord of Darkness. His gentle gesture and her training voice, slippery like a snake, really give body to the character, while reminiscent of his snountard heritage. He is Voldemort, and his performance deserves to be praised.
By its evil presence (latent or real) in eight films, Tom Jedusor / Voldemort will remain one of the iconic bad culture of the 2000s.
