How to Bring Your Indoor Comfort to the Garden?

Many people tend to stay inside, even when the weather turns to sunny and warm. That is definitely not the best solution to lead a healthy life. We all need a little bit of the sun to warm our skin and fresh air to clean our lungs, every once in a while. But with the last two years of the pandemic, not everyone wants to leave home, anymore. Bring the Living Room Outside

The quality of furniture and accessories, that are meant to go in the garden today, have increased tenfold, over the last few years. It is incredible the comfort that you can find, simply by recreating a living room outside. Start by having a deck or a terrace built in front of the door to your garden. It can either be fully open, or you can decide to enclose it through transparent plastic sheets or folding windows. One way or the other, you need to be able to leave everything open, at least on sunny days. Otherwise, it will be no different then staying inside.

There, you will recreate a new living room, including a TV set that you will place on the wall of the house, simply by using a wall TV bracket, or one that you can take out and place your TV on, temporarily. Always make sure to close the windows or protective plastic sheets, if there is any chance of rain, or else you could damage the TV set. There are waterproof TVs, but be aware that they are rather expensive. You can even install a small wood oven, for cool evenings.

Compromise

If the idea of recreating a second living room is too much for you, then there is another solution that should please you better: Open up the house itself, to the outside. How do you do that? By replacing the current physical wall, into one made of glass planes. They can either be windows or sliding doors. You can even go as far as choosing folding glass doors, which will enable you to fully open the house towards your garden, on a warm summer day. That way, you can stay inside while enjoying the sight of your garden all year long, no matter what the weather is like, and enjoy a change of air, at the same time.

Add a Mini-house

If you have a large garden, you can then think of adding a mini-house to it. That is the place where you will go, during summertime, to enjoy the warm days, while the rest of the family enjoys the pool or other activities on the lawn. The mini-house is the perfect solution so that people don’t have to go back into their home sweating, wet or with dirty feet. You can keep everything you need in it (cold refreshments, towels, etc.), and also all the comfort of home. Place a sofa, a TV and add a few books, so that you are all set for a summer of relaxation in luxury.
