When it comes to the streaming platform that empowers our access to the world of Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and other services, there is no doubt that Amazon Fire TV is one of the biggest on the planet. Millions of users around the world turn to its sticks, cubes, and TVs not only because of their low cost, but also because they reliably deliver a consistent experience across them all.
An exception to this is known as ambient experience. It’s a combination of beautiful backgrounds and widgets of varying degrees of usefulness, depending on how embedded you really are in the Amazon ecosystem. But for now, the Ambient Experience is only available on the Fire TV Omni QLED — the Amazon-branded television that runs on Fire TV — and the 2023 models of the Fire TV Stick 4K Max.

Turn on ambient experience
Given that you can change the Ambient Experience background only when the Ambient Experience is running, we need to turn it on first.

Choose a new background

step 3: Now, you have some decisions to make. Amazon has dozens of options if you’re using Amazon Photos – including your own photos.
Using the directional buttons, select a collection. These are groups of different backgrounds, each of which includes multiple backgrounds. Some are still images, others involve motion.
step 4: Find the background you want to use, then click choose Button to confirm (it’s in the center of the ring of directional buttons).
Step 5: Click change archive To reconfirm your choice.
And all. you will need to hit back button A few times to switch back to Ambient Experience if you want to see the new background immediately. Or you can just wait for it and it will load automatically in due time.
This is something you can spend a lot of time playing with, simply because Amazon has so many great options to choose from.
