ChatGPT’s advanced vision capability allows it to analyze and summarize images and documents in depth. It is especially useful when dealing with a legal document or a large research paper that has dozens of pages. ChatGPT will do the work for you. Why bother to go through that hassle of parsing them? This guide will show you how simple it is to add PDFs to chatGPT.
Upload a PDF to ChatGPT
Step 1. Sign in to ChatGPT. Click the Log In button at the bottom-left of the screen. Please enter your login credentials.
Step 2: Add the PDF file to the prompt. Select the source of the PDF by clicking the paperclip next to the input box. You can choose from your local drive, Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive. Then click on the file to be attached.
Step 3: Enter your query. After the PDF has been attached, enter your question, query, instructions, etc. into the field provided. This time, I am asking the system to tell me how much extra pork I would need if I want to triple the size of the portion. Then, click the upward facing arrow on the right side of the prompt to send everything to ChatGPT servers.
