HPI on TF1: Have you noticed this inconsistency in episode 4?

TF1 broadcast the fourth episode of season 5 of “HPI” last night. A very special opus for Morgane Alvaro in which is hidden a small inconsistency …

This Thursday, June 12, TF1 broadcast episode 4 of season 5 of HPI. This opus, which is the last before a long break of several months, put Morgane (Audrey Fleurot) in an unprecedented situation.

Following the death of her father, Serge, she must go by train to Boulogne-sur-Mer in order to spread her ashes in the sea. Along the way, in the hope of fleeing reality and her problems, the Rousse Tornado will embark on an unusual investigation with the surprising outcome.

An inconsistency that almost went unnoticed

In this episode, Morgane finds himself in an old ter which is supposed to link the fictitious station of “Mont-de-Terre” to that of Boulogne-sur-Mer. An imaginary line created for the needs of history.

And if most viewers have not noticed anything strange in the face of this journey, the Northerners probably noted a small inconsistency highlighted by our colleagues from La Voix du Nord.

While the small family is supposed to go to Boulogne-sur-Mer, she actually arrives in Dunkirk. At the start of episode 4, the funeral directors tell Morgane that his father’s ashes must be dispersed to “Boulogne-sur-Mer, Equihen beach, between the supervised swimming area and the fried barracks”.

First error: the beach mentioned is not in Boulogne, but in Equihen-Plage, which is a town. But this is not the only inconsistency noted by our colleagues.

At the end of the episode, when Morgane, Théa and Eliott find themselves by the sea, they are actually not on the beach of Equihen, or even on that of Boulogne, but in Dunkirk. This is evidenced by the factories and chimneys present in the background of the scene, and which are perfectly recognizable for the inhabitants of the region.

Still according to our colleagues, the dispersion of serge’s ashes take place at the end of the Braek dike, in the late Saint-Pol, an emblematic monument of Dunkirk. And you, have you noticed this little inconsistency?
