IBPS RRB Syllabus 2023 and Exam Pattern for Prelims, Mains Exam

IBPS RRB Syllabus 2023: IBPS RRB Notification 2023 has been released on 01st June 2023 for 9075 vacancies and aspirants willing to apply must begin their preparation with IBPS RRB Syllabus 2023. IBPS RRB syllabus is much similar to that of any other bank exam but the prelims pattern is different from any other bank exam. In this article, we are talking about the syllabus and exam pattern of the IBPS RRB 2023 exam for the post of Office Assistant (Clerk) and Officer Scale-I (PO), II & III. As per IBPS Calendar 2023, IBPS RRB Clerk Prelims Exam is scheduled for 12th, 13th & 19th August 2023 and IBPS RRB PO Prelims for 05th & 6th August 2023.

The IBPS RRB Exam Pattern is a bit different for both IBPS RRB 2023 Officer and IBPS RRB 2023 Assistant Exam. Let’s have a look at the exam pattern of both these exams separately as mentioned in IBPS RRB Notification 2023.

All the exams will be held through online mode and will be of objective type.All sections (except English Language section & Hindi Language section) will be bilingual (i.e. will be asked in both English & Hindi). There will be both sectional as well as overall cut offs in IBPS RRB 2023 Officer Scale-I (PO) exam. 1/4th marks will be deducted for every answer attempted wrong by a candidate in IBPS RRB 2023 Exam.

A composite time of 45 minutes is provided to candidates to complete two sections namely Reasoning and Numerical Ability. Candidates must clear the cut-off of each section. The cut-off for each section is decided by the team of IBPS depending on the level of difficulty of the paper

Note: There is no interview for IBPS RRB 2023 Office Assistant exam. The final selection will be based on marks obtained by a candidate in mains exam of RRB Clerk.
