While “The Cons” is broadcast this evening on TF1, return to the filming memories of Thierry Lhermitte, who interpreted Pierre Brochant against Jacques Villeret in the famous comedy of Francis Veber.
Considered one of the funniest and most famous comedies in French cinema, the Francis Veber Dinner is one of those films in front of which we instantly tape when you fall on television.
That's good: this feature film of a formidable efficiency, carried by the unrealrable duo formed by Thierry Lhermitte and Jacques Villeret, is broadcast this evening on TF1!
A demanding shooting
If you come across François Pignon's gaze by zapping on your television, there is a safe bet so that you decide to share his adventures to the end, just to hear again resonate punchlines such as “Leblanc is his name, and it's right, his first name”,, “He is cute Mister Pignon, he is mean Mr. Brochant” or “In the puppies, OM!”
Difficult to imagine the anecdote that follows so much the film is hilarious, but on the set, the atmosphere was much more studious than you might think. Indeed, as Thierry Lhermitte had revealed for the 25 years of the film On the set of the program C to youproduction had not necessarily been easy for him:

Gaumont
“It was a difficult shoot”
“Cons dinner, it was a difficult shoot because Francis Veber is very demanding, he intends to hear what he had in his head when he wrote and not something else”had he declared on France 5.
“It is like an author who wants to hear his composition, his score as he wrote, and not interpreted otherwise. But he was right … almost all the time.”
Quite laconic on the subject, the famous actor seems to recognize the filmmaker's relevance and the “vista”, while seeming to regret a certain lack of flexibility on the set. Anyway, and whatever the experience of the actors on the set, it is clear that the result is legendary.
