“It's a bit of a Soap Opera”: Kevin Costner still does not regret having left Yellowstone! – News series

In a new interview, Kevin Costner sent a small tackle to the series “Yellowstone” whose scriptwriting credibility he calls into question.

Almost a year after his departure, one would have thought that Kevin Costner would have put water in his wine. But the American actor and director is still not missing an opportunity to tackle the Yellowstone series, the broadcast of which ended – without him – last December. A new example was given to us during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Kevin Costner subtly tackles the series

At the microphone of our colleagues, Kevin Costner said that he continues to hang on to the hope of making a third part of his Western Horizon saga. The first film was a box office failure (38 million revenues for a budget of $ 100 million), a flop that has also led to the cancellation of the release of the second opus in French cinemas.

During this interview, the 70 -year -old actor was offered to revisit the biggest westerns in his career, from his film Dance with the Wolves to Yellowstone. Regarding the series, he underlines his ability to have known how to “represent beautifully” modern farming in American ranchs.

But the interpreter of John Dutton also qualifies the program of “soap opera”adding that according to him all the characters in the program “should be in prison.” One way for him to emphasize the lack of credibility of the intrigue half-words.

The Yellowstone saga will continue without it with several new series

Kevin Costner still does not seem ready to reconcile with Yellowstone. And why should he? The creator of the Taylor Sheridan series had not hesitated to settle his accounts with the American actor, by making fun of the age and physique of the latter in an episode of the fifth season.

The question of an appearance of John Dutton-in the form of a flashback, of course-does not arise for the next expected spin-offs: The Dutton Ranch which will be centered on the couple formed by Beth Dutton and Rip, and Y: Marshals which will follow the new adventures of Kayce Dutton.

All the series of the Yellowstone universe can be found now exclusively on Paramount+.
