JEE Main 2024 Exam Date Out:  The National Testing Agency (NTA) has finally released the JEE Main Exam Date 2024 for both sessions along with NTA Calendar 2024 on their official websites at www.neet.nta.nic.in and www.jeemain.nta.ac.in.The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 Session 1 is scheduled to be held between 24th January 2024 and 1st February 2024, whereas Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 Session 2 is scheduled to be held between 1st April 2024 and 15th April 2024. Every year NTA conducts the JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination Main) Exam, which is a computer-based national-level exam, conducted for students who are interested in seeking admission to BE/BTech, BPlan, and BArch courses offered by various JEE Participating institutes across the country.

JEE Main 2024- Exam Summary

JEE Main 2024 Exam Schedule

The JEE Main 2024 Exam dates for sessions 1 & 2 have been announced by the NTA. The JEE Main 2024 sessions 1 and 2 will be held between 24th January 2024 and 1st February 2024 and 1st April 2024 and 15th April 2024 in a respective manner. Registration for sessions 1 & 2 is expected to open by December 2024 and March 2024 respectively. The exam will be held in two shifts- 9 am to 12 pm & 3 pm to 6 pm.

JEE Main 2024 Application Form

NTA will activate the online registration of JEE Main 2024 for sessions 1& 2 at the official websites at www.neet.nta.nic.in and www.jeemain.nta.ac.in. Depending on the candidate’s preference for Paper 1 or Paper 2, they can fill out the JEE Main 2024 Application Form online and submit the same before the deadline. The JEE Main 2024 Registration form link for both sessions will be activated in this article. Subsequently, candidates can appear in both sessions, when they register themselves for session 1. They should also make sure that they meet the JEE Main 2024 Eligibility Criteria as per requirements.

JEE Main 2024 Application Fee

The application fee for the JEE Main 2024 exam has to be paid online mode after the successful submission of the JEE Main 2024 Application Form. The fee can be paid via online payment modes such as credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. An online application confirmation page will be generated after successful payment completion. Steps to Fill the JEE Main 2024 Application Form

Candidates must log in to the official website and fill out the JEE Main 2024 Application Form online once the NTA activates the registration link. Required documents in the specified format are to be uploaded to avoid cancellation. The following are the steps to fill out JEE Main 2024 Application Form.

1. Go to the official website of NTA, www.jeemain.nta.ac.in and search for the online registration link available.
2. Now, Click on the “JEE Main 2024 Registration” link displayed on the homepage.
3. Registered candidates will be able to directly log in and fill out the application form.
4. If candidates are registering for the first time, they will have to register first to generate credentials.
5. Required details are carefully filled in to register, after which login ID and password are provided on a mobile number or through mail.
6. Candidates can log in using the details, and fill out the application form with the necessary details – Personal, communication, qualification, etc.
7. Upload scanned images of photograph, signature, thumb impression, etc. as per the specifications mentioned about the format and size.
8. Now the last step is to pay the application fee through the provided payment gateways.
9. A confirmation page will be generated. Take a printout of the confirmation page and submit the application form.

JEE Main 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure that they meet all the eligibility conditions to appear for the JEE Main exam. The eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2024 are as follows:

Age Limit	There is no age limit for aspirants appearing in the JEE Main
Educational Qualifications	Candidates who have passed their Class 12 examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2023 or 2024 are eligible. Those who are appearing in their Class 12 examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2024 are also eligible to appear for JEE Mains. Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th /qualifying examination to be eligible.
No. of Attempts	A candidate is allowed to attempt the exam for three consecutive years. The number of attempts will be two in total a year.

NTA will release the JEE Main Cut Off 2024 for Paper 1 and Paper 2 for both sessions based on the candidate’s category along with the JEE Main Result 2024. The JEE Main Cut-Off is the minimum rank that grabs a seat in the NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs. JEE Main 2024 Admit Card

Candidates are advised to read all the instructions given on the admit card very carefully. In case of any discrepancy in details, candidates must contact the official authority immediately. JEE Main 2024 Answer Key

The JEE Main 2024 Answer key for the second session will be released after the commencement of the examination. The official answer key can be downloaded by logging in to the NTA website. The candidates also get the facility to challenge the official answer key. Candidates who want to challenge the answer key need to pay Rs. 200/- per question. Authority will also release the recorded response and question paper attempted by the candidates two or three days before the announcement of the result. The Answer Key gives the candidates an estimated idea about their marks.

JEE Main 2024 Session 1 & 2 Result

The JEE Main 2024 Result for the session 1 & 2 exams will be released in January 2024 and April 2024 tentatively.
