The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is all set to conduct phase 2 of Jharkhand Combined Civil Service Competitive Examination from 22nd to 24th June 2024. Candidates who have successfully passed preliminary examination have been shortlisted for mains examination that is to be conducted for 342 vacancies of various posts. Only those candidates will be issued mains admit card who have been shortlisted for this stage or have scored minimum qualifying marks in first phase. Through the recruitment drive, JPSC aims to fill vacancies for Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Superintendent of Police, State Tax Officer, Superintendent of Prisoners, Jharkhand Education Service Category II, District Magistrate, Assistant Registrar, Superintendent of Labour, Probation Officer, and Inspector posts. The JPSC mains exam will include 6 papers including different subjects and each paper will be conducted for 3 hours. The admit card download link for JPSC Phase 2 exam will be activated only on the official website of Jharkhand Public Service Commission, no candidate will receive it personally through their e-mail IDs or any other mode. Alternatively, candidates will be able to download their JPSC Mains Admit Card 2024 by clicking on the direct link that will also be shared after it is released officially. To avoid last-minute technical glitches candidates are advised to download their admit card much before exam date.
Steps to Download JPSC Admit Card 2024
Once admit card download links get activated on official portal, candidates can then follow these below-mentioned steps to download and print their JPSC PCS Admit Card 2024 easily.
1. Visit official website of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC), www.jpsc.gov.in/.
2. Search for link that reads “Click here to Download Admit Card for the Examination for Combined Civil Services Mains Examination, Advt. No. 01/2024”.
3. A new page opens on the system screen, Click on Login tab.
4. Candidates are redirected to the new login page where candidates are required to enter their login details such as Email/ Phone Number/ Candidate’s ID and Password.
5. After entering login details click on login.
6. JPSC admit card for phase 2 examination appears on the screen.
7. Download your JPSC Admit Card 2024 and take a printout of the same to carry the hard copy to the exam center.

Things Required for the JPSC Mains Exam

- Photographs: Candidates must keep 04 self-signed color photographs same as provided at the time of application forms.
- Valid Photo Identity Proof: Along with the admit card candidates must carry one original photo identity proof for verification purposes during the exam.
- Black/Blue Pen: To fill the OMR sheet candidates must keep a black and blue pen with them to carry to the exam hall. Borrowing pens from other candidates will not be allowed during mains examination.
JPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2024
The JPSC Mains exam will be divided into 6 papers out of which Paper I is qualifying in nature and every candidate must score a minimum of 30 marks to pass this paper. Marks obtained by candidates in Papers II to VI will be used for preparing merit list for interview round. There will be descriptive-type questions in mains exam and it will be conducted for a total of 950 marks.
