K1X x Patrick Mohr MK5 Black – All you Need to Know | Curated Mint

Striking, yet with a range of subtle detailing. Modern yet with classic undertones that keeps it a staple. We go over the ins and outs of the K1X x Patrick Mohr MK5 in its final, black colour way.

When German streetwear brand K1X teamed up with acclaimed designer Patrick Mohr, the man responsible for his striking and fearless pieces, everyone knew there was going to be a newsworthy trainer in the making. What came from the collaboration was three unique, bold trainers in a clean, all white, all red and all black.

The classic basketball shape was effortlessly merged into a modern, leather clad creature those subtle detailing complemented a textured base and strong overall shape. Available in selected boutiques only: Wish (Atlanta), FourTwoFour (Los Angeles), Feature (Las Vegas), Overkill (Berlin), Pigalle (Paris) and LUISAVIAROMA (Italy), this is a statement piece that’s for the brave only.

The K1X x Patrick Mohr MK5 Black

Following the statement block colour way of the red and white model, the K1X black takes on a striking, all black look that gives it a sleek, striking finish. Its textured, full grain leather and geometric triangular prints and cut outs (iconic to Patrick Mohr) gives it a tactile look, and its detachable leather patch with wooden triangle stands out even more strongly against the black leather.
