KTET Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2023

Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) exam is conducted by Pareeksha Bhavan, Kerala twice a year in order to determine the eligibility of aspirants possessing adequate skills to teach in Lower Primary, Upper Primary as well as High School classes in the state of Kerala. KTET Exam Pattern 2023 for Category 1

  1. The KTET Category 1 paper is for lower primary class teachers who want to teach classes 1 to 5.
  2. In KTET Category 1 paper, a total of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) are asked.
  3. Candidates need to attempt the paper in a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes.
  4. Each question is of 1 mark and there is no negative marking for an incorrect answer.
