The Madras High Court (MHC) will conduct the written exam for recruiting the Process Server, Watchman, Gardener, Examiner, Reader, Process Writer, Office Assistant and other posts, which will be filled in various district courts of Tamil Nadu.

Candidates who have applied within the stipulated time for these positions are now waiting for the MHC Hall Ticket. The department of Madras High Court will issue the hall tickets at least 5 days before the examination. It will be issued on the website, i.e. mhc.tn.gov.in. The MHC Recruitment Notification was released with 2329 positions of Process Server, Office Assistant and other posts on April 28, 2024. The applications were accepted for these positions from 28 April to 27 May 2024. These positions will be for various district high courts.

Selection Process for MHC Process Server, Officer Assistant & Other Posts

The examination authority will conduct the Madras High Court exam in three phases: Common Written Examinations, Skill Tests, and Viva-voce. Those who complete all three stages will be recruited for Office Assistant and Other Posts.

Common Written Examinations: The board will conduct a written exam for shortlisting the candidates for the next phase of the selection process i.e. Skill Test. Marks obtained in Part A and Part B will be considered together for shortlisting candidates for the skill test.

Skill Test: Qualified candidates will be called for a Skill Test to test their knowledge of in-office Maintenance, Housekeeping, Hygiene, Household Articles Maintenance and other household duties.

Viva-voca: Candidates who will be qualified for Common Written Examinations and Skill Tests will be called for the Viva-voce test.

The examination authority will take the common written examinations for each post. The exam pattern varies for each post, which is given below:

For Office Assistant, Copyist Attendant, Cleanliness Worker, Watchman and Other Positions

This examination is divided in two parts: Part A (General Tamil) and Part B (General Knowledge). Part A comprises 100 multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer carries a 01 mark. The duration to complete this entrance test is 02 hours.
