Héléna Noguerra, headliner of “New Day”
The matriarch of this clan (and the main character in the daily series) is called Louise Bartoli, she is embodied by the actress of Héléna Noguerra. This new heroine has resumed the management of the luxury family hotel after the disappearance at the sea of her father, injuring her brother and sister in passing (to which Louise no longer speaks).
Woman of grip, she nevertheless reveals her tender side with her fiancé, the beautiful Aurèle. But her daily life will be upset by the arrival of her niece Théa, whom she does not know, as well as by the return of faces of the past … To top it all, a mysterious crow sends to Louise very disturbing messages! Who has it after her?
Met on the impressive set of new day, then during the Monte-Carlo 2025 television festival, Héléna Noguerra spoke with Allociné about her role. To our microphone, she describes Louise: “My character is a woman not quite like me. She is not a funny, she is a lady! It's a boss … it was a challenge for me.“”
“My character has forged a very hard shell”
“”I think Louise Bartoli is an iron fist in an iron … iron. The velvet is very interior, hidden, buried. She is a woman who hides her secrets and injuries. By dint of having been damaged, she forged a very hard shell. She enforces her territory, that is to say that nobody returns … She is far too fragile to authorize her. His tenderness nevertheless exists towards her future husband Aurèle, her son Gabriel and his best friend Sofia [Aurélie Konaté, ndlr].“”
About Louise's son, Gabriel is played by Jean-Baptiste Maunier (which we saw in Tomorrow belongs to us). Héléna Noguerra analyzes her character's relationship to her child and psychology: “She loves her madly but since he works with her, she does not let him stand too much on her own feet. She is controlling, Louve.“”
“”Louise has an idea, no doubt, of the responsibility that goes beyond us. Maybe she keeps her son in the hotel because she feels too responsible for him. You will perceive that it has a form of hyper responsibility for everything. So, I question myself … What was his childhood?“”
“”Mohamed Benyekhlef [le co-créateur du feuilleton, ndlr] said to me: 'She is the girl good student'recalls the star new day. She was accountant in the hotel, she wants to hold when it twists around her. To save herself, she has the impression that she must save others too. It is a kind of rigor, even in relation to its staff. When she absolutely wants the hotel to work, she feels responsible for employees. His authority is a hyper responsibility. “
A story and character that are created as you go
But Louise is also able to show a lot of love towards Aurèle, her future husband interpreted by Alexandre Varga. Héléna Noguerra reveals: “He too will have his secrets … But for the moment, Louise is happy. You will discover it, it has a difficult past, it has suffered. Aurèle is a promise of sweetness and stability.“”
Finally, the actress (who observes for the first time the cogs of such a production) enthuses by realizing that she herself still ignores all the dark secrets of her character: “Louise is built as the story we are racing. “
“”There are things she has done and that I did not know. I discover them while reading the scripts and I say to myself: 'Ah well, she did that?!' (Laughs) We realize all the thickness that there is in this person. And as history is invented all the time, we also have the right to call the authors and make them suggestions. It's exciting and galvanizing!“”
