Neem which is also known as Margosa, is a plant of high medicinal value and beauty benefits. Neem is anti bacterial, anti fungal, anti septic, blood purifying properties. So, how one can use neem leaves to treat the minor ailments faced in day today’s life. Neem leaves can be used for both external and internal body problems like it helps in diabetes, ulcers, blood purification etc and externally neem leaves helps to control and clear the dandruff and lice. Neem leaves will also clear the skin of pimples and acne. Neem oil present in neem leaves also helps to treat the acne marks, scars etc off the skin.

1. Neem leaves uses for skin

We have so many soaps, skin creams, face washes that has neem as the key ingredients. All this is to take the benefits of this amazing plant. Neem can very well treat acne, pimple and allergies on the face and body. Usage of neem leaves will reduces the acne marks, treat the black spots on the skin and gives relief in the scars and pigmentation.

Acne Marks: Crush neem leaves and apply on the face and body to reduce the marks and pigmentation.

Pimple /Acne care: Crush the neem leaves and make a paste with water. Use this face pack on the facial skin 3 times in a week to make the skin free of pimples.

Skin ailments: To cure the skin irritations and boils on face, it is advisable to wash the face with neem water. Take handful of neem leaves and boil it for 5 minutes in 4 cups of water. This is the neem water than you need to use.

Neem leaves face pack: Make a paste of neem leaves by crushing them and mix with some curd. Mix them and use this pack on the face. Wash off after 25 minutes. This neem leaves pack will remove the sun tan, pigmentation, skin allergies and sun rashes effectively.

As neem has anti bacterial, anti fungal and antiseptic properties, neem leaves can be used to treat dandruff, scalp psoriasis, lice and boils on the scalp with regular usage. Neem also improves the hair texture and makes the hair softer, smoother and silkier.

Dandruff : Boil some neem leaves in water and use this water to wash the scalp. This will treat the dandruff and scalp problems.

Head lice: Apply neem leaves past on the scalp and rinse after 2 hours. This natural home remedy will help to kill the head lice. This treatment can be tried by men, women and kids.

Hair growth: Neem leaves paste when applied on the scalp and washed after 2 hours will also enhance the growth of the hair.

2. Neem leaves uses for body

Like the facial skin, neem leaves are beneficial for treating lot of body ailments as well ,like the allergies, toe nail fungus, prickly heat, eczema etc.

Prickly heat: To get the benefits of neem leaves in home cure of prickly heat, apply neem paste and leave for 2 hours then take a shower.

Skin problems: Boil neem leaves in some water and use that water in to your bath water. This will help to combat the psoriasis, eczema and other skin allergies.

Toe nail Fungus: Use the boiled neem leave water to wash the toe nail skin. You can also apply neem leaves paste on the toe nail fungus to treat it faster.
