Neighborhood x Vans Collaboration

You can always count on skate shoe legends Vans to bring the goods when it comes to new releases. In addition to this, their collaborations are always classic. Featuring premium Vans authentics and detailing and motifs from streetwear giants Neighborhood, this collab is sure to be an instant classic.

Operating since 1966, Vans are one of the biggest footwear producers in the world. They started off making skate shoes exclusively, but currently it’s not just skaters wearing Vans, they’re one of the most fashionable shoes on the market right now.

Neighborhood on the other hand are streetwear legends. Originating from Harajuku, Japan, they take inspiration from the military and motorcycles – giving a very clean cut and traditional take on things.

The two brands have joined forces yet again (they’ve had many previous team efforts), and bought us one of Vans’ classic silhouettes, the authentic. This time with an all leather premium upper, contrasting stitching and Vans “Thumbs Up” branding on the midsole. The shoe also features Vans’ classic vulcanized sole in a gum colourway.

The thing we love about Vans collaborations most is how great the quality is, and it’s consistent. Everytime Vans collaborate with someone, they always use the premium versions of their blanks, which surpass their standard release counterparts everytime. The attention to detail is also always on point. Minor details are crafted intricately to give the shoe that personal touch and stand out a little.

As of yet we have no release date for the pairs, but it’s definitely confirmed and it’s more than likely to be soon. If the teaser images that Neighborhood released are anything to go by, this pair is going to be a must have for skaters, sneaker fans and streetwear heads alike.
