Solicited to appear in the final of this Netflix series very popular with Internet users, this American actress holding two Oscars finally declined the offer.
The cameo that all the fans of the Kid Karate saga was waiting to take place in Cobra Kai. The Netflix series ended this year at the end of its sixth season, marking the end of the reunion between the eternal rivals Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio).

But the two former Kids Kids almost met the road to Miss Karate Kid, the 1994 spin-off heroine embodied by Hilary Swank. The American actress awarded with two Oscars for the best actress – for Boys Don't Cry and Million Dollar Baby – had said in the past to be demanded by fans a cameo, although she does not watch the series.
In an interview recently granted to Entertainment Weeklythe co-creator of Cobra Kai Josh Heald said he contacted Hilary Swank to offer him to resume his role as Julie Pierce in the Netflix series. The American screenwriter reveals that he had offered him a short appearance, “So that she does not have to engage on a shoot of ten episodes.”

But the discussions quickly turned short since Hilary Swank refused to meet the creators of Cobra Kai. “She did not want us to move and that we did a lot of trouble for something that she did not feel ready to do at this precise moment” Confides Josh Heald, who adds to respect the actress's decision but regret not having been able to exchange with her about this camera project.
Fans still have the hope of seeing Hilary Swank come back to the Kid Karate universe. Although Cobra Kai’s broadcasting is over, its main Ralph Macchio interpreter recently said that spin-off projects are currently being developed. Because it is well known: Cobra Kai never dies!
