New on Disney+ in February 2023

After a lacklustre January, February is shaping up to be a month of non-stop entertainment on Disney+. Leading the pack is the highly-anticipated sequel of the 2018 blockbuster hit Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which will be premiering on the platform at the beginning of the month. The film, which recently received 5 Oscar nominations, is sure to be a hit with fans of the original and newcomers alike.

The expansive streamer is also dropping several STAR originals that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Highlights include the debut season of Kindreda novel-adapted sci-fi series that will transport you on a mysterious journey through time. On the other end of the spectrum, Not Dead Yet is a comedy series starring Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez that will have you laughing while coming to terms with mortality after a life.

Alongside this, Disney+ will also be premiering the second season of the animated series The Proud Family: Louder and Prouderwhich will follow the adventures of Penny Proud and her friends and family. For Marvel fans, Disney Channel’s new animated series Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur will also be releasing its first six episodes on the service. And Pixar will be premiering the short film Dug Days: Carl’s Date on February 10, where Carl from the hit film Up needs help preparing for a special lady date.

Disney+ will also be premiering the new international series The Chorus: Success, Here I Go on February 1. The show will follow 10 artists as they compete in the final round of theatre auditions and face their fears to chase their dreams. For Reality TV fans, shows like Dance Moms and Dance Moms: Miami will be joining the platform on February 8, as well as Celebrity House Hunting, Ghost Huntersand episodes of Storage Wars.
